I have been going to the sun shoppe cafe for 18 years. Everything here is delicious and the current owners and employees are so nice. My favorites are the vegetarian snack, super nova (bagel with lox), and spicy tuna melt. Of course the coffee, tea, and desserts are good too.
Horrible service, I'm not 100% sure if that lady is the owner of this shop, but she need to learn how to treat every customer equally when they walk into that shop. I had a class in Melbourne near by the coffee shop for 7 days. I went to get breakfast there for 5 days straight sometime lunch. First, This lady can be busy in the kitchen once I'm doing purchase with the cashier, She comes verify the order as if I'm stealing or walking away with free food, mind blowing. Second, I brought to her attention that she gave the wrong, and burnt sweet bread. She just act I was to talking to a wall then walkaway to finish those other people breakfast. Unfortunately I had already spent $13. House Coffee is water down. Food is not that great either. The 2 Other cashiers are nice. The lady owner look at me by appearance which was very uncomfortable. I would spend my money else where next time. and I would not recommend this Coffee shop.
Possibly some of the worst coffee I’ve tasted!!! I threw it straight in the trash. They have no idea what they’re doing. Also charged extra to pay by card and made me buy something else. They need some tips from Foxtail Coffee around the corner. I discovered Foxtail while driving past after ordering here and the difference was like night and day. Terrible experience sorry.
Very nice, friendly, and.local environment. The coffee is great, the tuna salad was delicious. 10/10 would go back again!
OMG! Delish! This place was always a favorite of ours but I haven't been there in a while. Today, for a girls day out, I brought my daughters here before our pottery date. And oh em gee, we were not disappointed! The freshest bagels ever. I had the avocado toast on an everything bagel. It was like heaven. So much avocado spread! Delicious and creamy with some junks for a surprise. My mouth is watering just typing this. My baby girl had a plain bagel with cream cheese and she was a happy camper. My big girl child had a blueberry muffin and a strawberry banana boba tea. She was in absolute bliss. The staff was excellent. The environment was cozy and inviting. We sat at the bar so we could stalk the workers in their creative glory. They truly are magicians. Everything just flowed and no one looked burnt out or freaked. And the price was incredibly reasonable. We'll be back for sure!
I work nearby and decided a smoothie sounded like a good idea. I called and ordered a Passion smoothie (apple juice, strawberry, banana). It was perfect! It was creamy and a perfect balance of the three ingredients! I will definitely be getting that one again! Support local businesses!!
Excellent food, robust coffee, friendly service... this place is awesome. Even when there's a crowd (which is almost always), it never feels crowded. A great place to feed the body, mind, and soul.

Best food and service in Melborne!! Simple, healthy and tasty!!! A treasure. Salads are incredible and reasonable.
