Food was ok. Gator dockside does it better. The real issue is we are in 2022 and most of us use Apple Pay or card. This place hits you for a 4% up charge when using card. I’m sure at the most they pay 2% on cards. I could even understand a min purchase for credit. This place chose to accept cards as a convenience for its customers then inconveniences us with more money for an already expensive sandwich. It’s bad for business and I didn’t know this until I was about to pay. I won’t be back. I’m sure the owner is going to respond with some nonsensical ans as to why he has to up charge due to his cost. I was in the business of setting up merchant accounts and it’s a fact if you only accept cash you’d lose a significant amount of business so you taking cards should be built into your cost of doing business. It’s petty and speaks volumes of the character.
This place would be 5 star if only the staff were a bit friendlier. She was polite to me and checked on me a few times which was great. However, her attitude about being there and trying to fill out an application for someplace else and getting frustrated she couldn't complete it because customers were calling to place orders and coming in to order is really unprofessional. When people would ask how she was she would say "well I'm here". I understand we all have bad days and maybe this is not how she normally is. But generally first impressions are what bring you back. I wouldn't come back again if she was there. Just my opinion. The food was outstanding though.
Tried the original cheese steak with provolone, jalapeno poppers and old bay seasoned fries. The cheese steak was like a 7 out of 10 but should have tasted better for the price. The poppers are not worth it at all and the old bay fries aren't bad but not good either. Just go to Firehouse Subs. Haven't tried there pizza yet. Maybe that's decent
Delivery was swift, order was perfect and food was hot, fresh and delish. We had a Stromboli (small was enormous), fries, shrimp scampi, side of marinara, garlic knot and garden salad with their house dressing. We loved every bite even though we could only eat half because the portions are so generous! You never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression and these guys nailed it. We will be ordering again for sure.
Omg this place is has the absolute best Philly cheese steak sandwiches I ever had. I went with the large spicy Philly. It was so good that words don't even come close to expressing just how good their food is. Might I recommend always getting large portions of whatever you decide to order. You'll thank me later.The staff are extremely personable and especially helping you make up your mind on what to order. They were so pleasant to be around that I could even work there because they seem very content and generally happy to see you. Awsome service and food just out if this world. Enjoy as I did and will for as long as I'm still kicking.
