This place has to be the worst Steak n Shake I have ever been to. The only reason I didn't make as a 1 star is because the place was clean and shake was okay. Food was not cooked that well at all, burgers looked boiled, fries were barley cooked. Just really not good food. And when in the hell did you have to start paying for the seasoning. Sorry steak n shake I will never be back. And all of you looking for a good burger your better off going to McDonald's.

I call up after I get home and have nothing but an attitude ,,, pompous reply ,,, no you don't understand that some went with out dinner one night because of your careless attempt to make a burger, greasy ,, full mess ,,, so NO I could car less about your free burger ,,, my daughter says everyone looks like clowns who work there ,, piercing and colored hair ,,, it's OK we got something better ,,,get new management,,, lost another ocustomer

The only reason I gave it two stars is that "some" of the employees were kind and helpful. We had to send our food back because the Bun of the Burger was literally ice cold to the touch. The fries were cold and salted to an inedible extreme. The cheese that we paid extra for was so cold we could not even dip the fries in it, much less pour it over them. When we brought the food back to the counter, the MOD just wanted to give us a refund and get rid of us. We explained that we wanted an edible lunch. They replaced the food, and it was not much better. I had to ask that they "nuke" the cheese as it was still cold and unusable. In addition, there was an elderly lady trying to order with cash. She did not know how to operate the kiosk and the employees plainly refused to assist her. My company had to stop eating and assist the woman as she was becoming distressed. I wish to point out that it was not busy, and there were only about 4 or 5 total tables at the time. We shall not be returning.
5 stars for service steak cheese burger, very basic, string fries were alright. Prices are reasonable.
Food was great and Donna was an amazing worker. Beyond attentive and was friendly and talking with all the customers. She really made the whole experience eating there better and was awesome. Will definitely come back due to the service and the food!!
The blonde “ Manager “ was very unprofessional !! THEY got our order wrong by not placing the 3 small fries and 3 chicken strips we had ordered. Manager then talked smack with her co-workers at the window claiming that we “ hid “ the food because the bag was supposedly fuller when she gave it to us and now appeared emptier.. but in reality they just never gave it to us ??. This could’ve been resolved way easier if they just accepted that they made a mistake , checked receipt , and gave us the missing food we ordered. Rather than arguing with your coworkers about how you weren’t wrong and we for some reason hid the food in the car ! Thank you for having the time of day for us because we sure did have the time of day for you !
I have a love/hate relationship with Steak N Shake. Their steak burgers are really always delicious but they mess everything up, every single time I go there. This visit was no different. Our fries were in small cups and each filled half way with cold fries. The Double bacon steak burger, is, repeated as a double cheeseburger and we corrected them. Still came as a double cheese after they acknowledged it. 2 Milkshakes were literally half full. With the whipped cream, filled less than 2/3 of the cup. I hate leaving poor reviews but really disappointed in this location.
