We ordered baked oysters and peel and eat shrimp. The drink was delicious. The restaurant was off the water and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive.

Excellent place with breathtaking views of the water. You can get great views sitting inside or outside. Gluten/soy/dairy free items for me and tasty meat dishes for the hubs. Changing table in the women’s bathroom. One of our fav places for lunch or dinner.

So, I am new to this area and wanted to try something new. I would have to say this place is a must. Great environment to eat and hang out a bit. We sat in the patio area and it was nice. The service was good but slow. This is a big restaurant so it was expected. Pricing was good as well. Now for the food we got chip and queso (queso was good/chips were stale). If you like onion blossoms get the coconut onion chips (they were awesome). I also got the Conch fritters and they were also good. Our main entree were good as well nothing was bad minus the chips. The reason for 5 stars was because of overall experience was awesome. This is a must if in town.

Great customer service! Food is delicious! Like conch meat? You have to try conch fritters OMG the best ones I’ve had so far. Coconut shrimp also the best I’ve had so far

Went to Squid Lips based on reviews. The food was mediocre. They brought put bread called Bimini bread. Never had it before. Tasted like sunscreen. No real sweet tea. Only Gold Peak. Waited a long time for shrimp and a chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was burnt. The atmosphere is great though.

Some High Schools friends decided to join-up together and have lunch at this restaurant. We hadn't seen each other in over 40-years!! We were a party of five and arrived early. We sat ourselves out on the back patio overlooking the Indian River. Beautiful location. We ordered drinks and they came came quickly. We ordered our lunches and waited. I think we got lost in the shuffle somewhere because many other tables were being served before us. When we found a waitress they were not too happy with us. That being said, they food was good and the reunion fantastic.

When we first arrived in Melbourne a couple of years ago, we found Squid Lips and really enjoyed it. Set on the water, with a casual menu and live music, the food was good, as was the service. Over the past year, sadly this is no longer the case. The food has become more tasteless, and the service is indifferent at best. But tonight took the cake. Screwed up one order, the waitress disappeared for 10 minutes while we waited for drink refills. But the last item on the bill - "Surcharge." "Surcharge?" I asked. "What is that?" "It's a charge added to your bill for the privilege of allowing you to eat here," the waitress explained. Really?? REALLY??? With many better restaurants in the area, I am certain we will pass on visiting here in the future!

We always enjoy going to this place, they have really good bartenders! And the views of the river are spectacular, they make a great burger, and their chowder is the best! Happy Hour specials are good, lately we have tried some different menu items and we just had the seafood lasagna(the smaller portion) and with a few beers, the chowder and the lasagna it was plenty to eat!

The food was great and service was good. What broke my heart is that we told our server that we were celebrating my dad's birthday and she came out singing happy birthday with other servers to the table right next to us. Kind of ruined the experience for us. Yes we did tip more than 20% on a heft bill.

Lunch over the water the food was very good Shrimp basket and Grilled fish sandwich . Watched the manatee play in the water just outside. The service was a little slow but the food made up for it.
