Whoever is giving this place more than 2 stars has never had good BBQ and I feel sorry for you. I got the brisket sandwich w/ fries, Mac & cheese, and corn muffin. The brisket was rubbery and dry. The bun was the same quality as a McDonald’s hamburger. The mac was half warm half cold like the microwave hadn’t thoroughly heated it up. And the only reason I’m giving it a generous 2 stars is because I liked the corn muffin and the staff was friendly. If you have low expectations for BBQ then you’ll probably like this place.
We have enjoyed Sonny's for years and this one was a home run. Some have not been so good, but this one right off the interstate 95 and easy in/out was great. Fast service, tasty food and good priced. Thanks
The food was awesome, and the staff great!! My first time there and I'm thoroughly impressed! A lot of food for the price. The are a hidden gem behind another restaurant. They need a sign closer to the road.

My first time coming to Sonny’s and it was very awesome! I had to place an order to go , a lady named Chelsey Wallace attended me. She was very cool and nice and even help me with ordering something VERY delicious. Chelsey if you this…. Garlic bread was the right choice. She really was helpful to me that day. We loved Sonny's Combination platter. The Chicken was the best I have had. Everything else on the platter was also outstanding. I had the barbecue ribs & my wife had the dry ribs. Both were delicious. We have ate at other Sonny's and they weren't nearly as good.
We haven't had Sonny's BBQ in a very long while. This location was next to our hotel and we walked over for dinner. It was new, clean and we didn't wait long to be seated (and they were busy). Both of us had pulled pork plates with sides. Our server didn't let our tea glasses empty and check on us otherwise. They were short staffed but you'd never know it by their service. I recommend this restaurant.
This was the first time ever going to a Sonny's ..I had the Pork 3 ways.. and Everything on my plate was delicious . Only negative, it was a little cold.. but it could've been because it was about 18 of us..
I don't remember ever having a bad meal at a Sonny's location. Friendly employees with good food at a great price.
After driving by for months, finally tried it. Really good! Slow cooked goodness.
