I'm sure the food is good, but a 30 minute wait on Sunday brunch is unacceptable. When will this "I don't wanna work" phase end? They are desperate for line cooks. Menu prices have increased due to food shortages and to pay employees better wages. I hope Shep's can stay afloat. I hear it's a Melbourne institution. Next time maybe I'll get to sample something besides coffee.

it is a very friendly reminder of home cooking and people that want to know you and yours so come by and take a load off and enjoy as me and mine do and have for the last ten years.

My friends and I wanted to try a local diner for breakfast and after searching for ones nearby our airbnb, this one came up. Went with a group of 8 and they were really welcoming and accommodating! The food was really good too!!

I'm always on the lookout for good breakfast places, and Shep's Diner popped up. I'd never heard of it, but to be fair, I live a few miles south of their location. Overall, it was OK. Not bad, nothing stood out. My statement is based on a simple 2 egg dish, which is what I normally try at an unfamiliar place. While nothing stood out nothing detracted from the visit. Easy to get to, ample parking, large clean seating and pleasant staff. It's worth a try.

It actually surprised me .... On the outside, it looks like a typical warn florida joint, no disrespect.. The inside is very nice, the food is very good, the old school diner style, and the staff is super nice... Did I mention the prices, prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back many more times... If you ever heard, don't judge a book by its cover; this restaurant definitely applies to that saying ... because you would judge out of ignorance...

I just showed up with the intent of having breakfast with a group. They accommodated me immediately. From the time I entered to the time I left the staff were full of smiles. They were very prompt with their drink orders and before not long at all, our food was at the table. I would have to say it was a good outing, thanks!

Food I love the food it was great I had a great time with my family but when I went back to my fiance's car my makeup bag had been stolen with about $200 worth of makeup in it very sad to know that those type of people hang around and think that they could still in your car when you're just inside eating and we went out three times and didn't even see the person who stole my makeup bag

We loved this place. I'm always searching for good chicken/country fried steak and this was one of the best I've had. Grits were cooked perfectly and the gravy was outstanding. Service was great -- friendly and homey. Hubby loved his meal too -- in fact he normally has leftovers (I always have leftovers) but didn't this time. We were only in town for a short time and I'd almost come back just for the food here.

Place has changed a lot since the last time I was there. Had the special...3 sliders, one meatloaf, pulled pork, and chicken salad.Meatloaf was dry and all I could taste was peppers. Some mashed potato on top. Dry. A little shot of gravy might have made it better. The pulled pork was it, no bbq sauce, so it was a wet pile of pork. Chicken salad seemed fresh. Best thing on the plate...the fries.

I stopped here while working and had a great breakfast. The staff was super friendly, the food was homestyle cooking and was overall a great experience.
