Turned down again!! by the owner. 8:30 pm and we were told that it was too late to serve us in the dining room. This is the second time we were told that it was too late to serve!!!??? We have been dining in at Sabai for years and I guess loyalty does not matter with this establishment. Our whole family ate here, even my 86 year old mother. Well this is the last time we will set foot at Sabai Thai. Good food but poor customer service in my opinion.

They have a wonderful lunch menu for both Japanese and Thai dishes, and I have never left hungry. Their spiciness rating is pretty accurate - and I enjoy really, really hot stuff (try ordering it Thai hot!). There aren't many seats but the turn around is quick, and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes even when getting there around noon.

The Tom Kah and veggie sounds were delicious. Sushi really food. Fast respectful service. Small place you'd never know was there but worth finding it

Food was excellent. It was clean and the service was great. There was no long wait.

This place falls into the “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. It is in a strip mall next to a massage parlor and tiny market. It is one block from the Hilton, Melbourne Airport. The menu was extensive and including lots of choices for sushi and Thai dishes. I ordered a combination sushi dish and the portion was massive and tasted delicious! It came with a huge side salad with a yummy Ginger dressing. I will definitely return when I am back in Melbourne.

Visited this little gem at around 7pm on a Tuesday. The place is probably about 50% occupied.I ordered the Thai combo 1 and the app sampler, my friend ordered one of the curries with potato. Food servings were huge and were super tasty! I forgot to take a pic of the pad Thai. I got 3 meals out of my order. Food came out very fast as well.Total bill for everything was $56! Really great value…I actually like this place better than Siam Orchid and Mangetsu so I will definitely be back!

I have been a regular at Sabai Thai for 4 years and they hit the mark on everything. Incredible ingredients, a creative and precise sushi chef, Thai dishes with great flavors, and a staff that is so friendly! My friend had her baby at the hospital up the road and we went to get sushi for her. They decorated the box and with flowers and a personal message. Such thoughtful people!

Absolutely loved the food! Our was so nice and welcoming, we will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu!Completely recommended it!

The grill was broken on my first visit so we were forced to eat sushi. Never a bad thing to be forced to do! Our waitress was exceptionally warm and caring despite being overloaded with lunch business. I'll definitely return to try out the Thai menu.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. The curry is great, the Thai pepper beef is great, everything’s great.
