Dinner was wonderful as always. Our server was very attentive and our chef put on a great presentation while cooking everything perfectly.
Food was delicious. Hugh portions. So much fun watching them cook and you get to meet new people. Definitely going back.

Our sushi rolls were all rice. I had the feeling that my tempura shrimp roll was pre-made as the shrimp was cold and the rice represented 3/4 of the roll. A waste of money and palate.
Best Value, very delicious and Quantity Meal in Florida! A fun place to bring a group. We had our own personal grill seating for 10 people. Your food is cooked before your eyes by an experienced chef with a sense of humor. Definitely a must go to restaurant in Melbourne. I can guarantee that you will not go away hungry and you will have food leftover to take home with you. Kids are welcome. We had 3 children with there parents dine with us and the kids did not complain once. The Chef engaged with them and they laughed. Again, do not miss going to Makoto's !
Great place and good food. Lunch portions are smaller of course and there isn't any fire spectacular with the cooking of your meal. If you want to have the huge servings and great fire show, wait until after 3:00.
If you have celiac disease this is not the place to go. I have celiac disease. I visited Makot's a while back, told the staff that I have celiac disease and that I get very sick from gluten and after eating there I got very ill. I emailed Makoto's and they assured me that they will educate their staff and it would not happen again. I did not go there after that until last night. I told the waitress about my illness and also the cook when he came out to prepare my food. An hour after the dinner I got very sick again and will be for the next few days. I understand if a restaurant can't accommodate someone with celiac disease, but then at least let the costumer know so the customer could decide to go somewhere else and not prepare food for them that makes him very sick.
I went for a grandma’s birthday and I love it. The food was great and the cooks were amazing. I would highly recommend for group outings or celebrations. Oh and the price is surprisingly low. Will be going again.
I love Makoto's. I haven't been in years because I never find myself in that part of town- and it's still just as delicious now as it was back then. We went for lunch and the prices were much lower than when you go for dinner, but the portions seemed just as big. So delicious! I had steak, rice, sprouts, and zucchini
Food was delicious. May I strongly suggest a reservation. Very reasonable on price. Staff are upbeat & professional. A definite must do, Makoto’s.
