The food is always very good, enjoy the potato salad, just wish the portion was bigger. Would highly recommend this place, the staff is absolutely amazing.?
Comfy and homey pub place with lots of different areas to hang out to drink, eat and chat. Known for their roast beef, which did not disappoint with the delicious Kummelweck on fresh kaiser roll sprinkled with caraway seeds and kosher salt, served perfectly with side of au jus and horsey sauce. An institution in downtown Melbourne. Definitely a place to checkout. The bar food is excellent and not your typical frozen/fried food...the stuffed mushrooms are fabulous and made fresh, get them early because when they're gone they're gone.
Ignored by waitress out on patio. Because I'm old, white, male, I suppose. Had to go to bar to order. It was jazz night. Drank the entire beer and never heard a note. Lowered expectations for the this place.

My favorite pub in downtown Melbourne, consistently good food and personable staff. THE best roast beef on a warm weck, tender and delicious. St Paddy's Day is a treat!
Wonderful long time Melbourne establishment. Fantastic service, good beer, and a nice mixed drink selection. Try the orange crush! The food is surprisingly great as well. Highly recommended.
Our time there was quite enjoyable. So many options for the evening. Upstairs, Downstairs, inside, outside, band, no band and more. Something for everyone and the food was fun and delicious. Great Margaritas too.
