It’s a common theme I’ve noticed, that if a Jamaican restaurant is empty, walk away!!!This restaurant was recommended to me as having some of the best Jamaican Food.The food tasted a day old, the chicken was so tough and hard, I could not chew it, so asked fora serving of Ox-Tail.This dish usually is very tender in most restaurants but Not Today.The Ox-Tail was mostly made up of fat and bone with very little meat.It, too, was unsatisfactory.I usually don’t bother writing reviews about restaurants, but the food I had today, was some of the Worst Jamaican Food, I’ve ever tasted!Having to pay for two plates of food just to geta decent meal was too much!And if the Customer Service was remotely Decent, I wouldn’t have written this review, but it also was lacking……No Friendliness, at all.I will not be returning to this restaurant!
Poor customer service. Lady in the front doesn’t look like she belongs there… a friendly greeting and smile in any business establishment goes a long way. Imagine the amount of customers whom like myself will not give this place a second try just because your staff is not making this place feel welcoming whatsoever. Other than that I would like to recommend putting an actual menu up so persons can know the pricing of meals without having to ask many questions to a staff who clearly isn’t interested in being bothered. Overall the food was good, my rice was a bit on the hard side but I assume that’s because I got my food in the afternoon. I wish you guys the best and do hope you can work on your business some more.
Not very pleasant and the counter help was not very helpful, somewhat rude and more interested in her phone than service. They do not appreciate the customer and feels the customer is lucky the restaurant is there. Best food is across the street at Strawberries' Caribbean restaurant
First timer; had the Jerk Chicken (was a mild to medium spicy - even heat throughout). The meal came out steaming hot, meat was juicy and tender, very delicious!Folks here were all friendly and sociable.Pricing was reasonable & affordable. Portion size was larger than my eyes expected; I went with the 5-piece but could probably have been fine with the 3-piece. :DWould recommend checking it out!
Excellent food, was so delicious, tasted just like our good jamician buddies up north food. Definitely be back. We got curry and brown stew chicken. Yummy can't wait to try the jerk pork and chicken.
Food was terrible. I got jerk chicken, and it was fast cooked and tough to eat. I couldn't even finish it. Good jerk chicken falls off the bone and is soft meat cooked slowly. I felt so sick after eating here. I also got the curry goat, and it was gross. There was not much flavour and was too much salt. The rice was not cooked properly either.
The roti was excellent but the curry goat was too salty therefore I couldn't enjoy or finish eating it
My family and I ordered a variety of entrees from Hazel’s Caribbean Restaurant, and all I can say is the food was Absolutely Delicious! Thank you, Hazel! I have a go to Caribbean restaurant that serves quality food to visit when I come from Miami. Excellent Food!
I had rice and peas with cabbage... the rice tasted old , but the flavor was good just couldn’t finish it.
Staff is polite and hard working. Food is delicious and I'll be dreaming about it for the rest of my life. Lol The curry goat was tender and mouth watering.
