Delicious seafood. I had the coconut shrimp and coconut rice with marinated carrots. The waiter was on top of his game, serving the 5 of us flawlessly.
I heard the live music but expected more of an island or Caribbean sound rather than the American pop songs being played. The food is always good and even though I ventured away from the familiar it was good, more messy to eat and and won’t order it again but not bad. The service person’s attitude was not good. I can understand and roll with slow service, out of stock items, having to wait for drinks and such, with communication, but a poor attitude is totally on the person.
This place had very good service. Our waitress was a sweetheart. The vibe at the place was great, with a good band playing Tom Petty. The food left a lot to be desired. For $29.99 I got the “succulent” scallops, but as you can see from the picture they were anything but succulent. They were over cooked and pre packaged. The clam chowder was marginal and the u peel em shrimp were small. For the prices they need to do better. Would likely not come back unless it was solely for drinks and the band.
One of my favorite breakfast places. Enjoy the view from the inside or out on the deck. My only complaint is that the inside of the restauraunt always smells like pelicans. Maybe I have been away from Florida waterfronts too long. I haven't ate dinner here but if it's like the one at Port Canaveral im sure it's great too. Great place overall!
Chill by the water.Met with a couple friends for a Thursday brunch. We each ordered some of the best fish tacos I have ever had. I suggest as well; ordering them with a side of rice if your extra hungry. We certainly enjoyed our drinks, view of the water, and service. Thank you!
Our party of five ate lunch at Grills on Memorial Day weekend. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated in the dining room right away. I know waiting tables on a holiday weekend is challenging, but our waitress was not very friendly or attentive. She seemed put out and inconvenienced when we asked her for things. I had the shrimp cuban sandwich which was good. The view is really nice, but I wish we had sat outside on the patio. There was live music outside and the atmosphere just seemed like it would have been more enjoyable.
We love Grills. We usually go to the one in Cale Canaveral but we were visiting the zoo in melbourne so stopped at Grills Riverside. It’s always nice as it seems to be not as busy as the one at the port. We got in right away and had our food quickly. We love the fresh fish. It was the mahi mahi fish special with vegetable, Tahitian taters and garlic bread. So good. The views are amazing and so is the food. We can’t wait to go back.
This is a good restaurant with a great view. I go there quite often, and breakfast, lunch and dinner have all been good.
The sea food was excellent, fresh, well presented and accompanied with selection of vegetables and amazing sauce. The restaurant has lovely views of the river and plentiful wildlife in the area, staff were helpful and polite and added to a wonderful venue and meal. Anytime I am back in the Melbourne area I will Definitely return to this venue.
We both got shark kebabs, the fish of the day and peel n eat shrimp which were great. The sides can be kind of odd for seafood. Tahiti taters are cheese smothered redskin potatoes and while good don’t really vibe with seafood. The side of fettuccine Alfredo was mediocre. I’d suggest going with coconut rice and steamed veggies if you get a fish entree instead of just ordering whatever looks good.
