An absolute pleasure to dine at. We were passing through town and came across Fritterbox. From the moment we walked in to the last bite of food, there was nothing but amazing customer service and beyond delicious food. The thing we enjoyed the most was how they catered to vegans. Here you will get a home cook meal beyond salads and fruits. If you are looking for a GREAT place to eat with matching customer service don't hesitate to stop in. I was in Melbourne on business and did a Google search for a lunch spot. Fritterbox was recommended so we gave it a try. Not a fancy atmosphere but the food is what counts. I haven't had fritters often but the chicken & plantains were delicious! (Especially with the mango dipping sauce.) Good food, nice people -- recommended!
I got the Fritwich which is basically a sandwich with fritters and veggies inside. Fresh and flavorful fritters, veggies and bread, but there was no sauce. Could really use some sauce on the sandwich to tie everything together and bring more flavor.
The food was absolutely delicious! We ate the coconut cream snapper and chickpea and plantain fritters. Excellent service, and wonderful experience!
