Nice people who serve there! And very good food!
Delicious food and very friendly staff! I would highly recommend
We love El Indio! The people are always happy and inviting and the food is always soooooo good. It's a go to favorite for us now.
My husband and I are fans of Mexican food. We stopped in for lunch. The food tasted ok but we both were very sick afterwards even though we had different choices. I have since heard from friends that this happened to them as well. Beware!
El Indio never disappoints. Food is always great, staff friendly and attentive. Prices reasonable. It is not a fancy restaurant, but it's very cozy and comfortable. We haven't been eating indoors since Covid started, but are planning to get take out from them very soon. I had to select a more recent date in the drop down menu.
We got off work super late and came straight here about 10 minutes before closing - we suck, i know, I'm so sorry. We didn't realize things in Melbourne close so early. Anyway, they were SO NICE considering the time. The to-do food was SO good, they made it so quickly and were so stinking nice about it. Thank you SO MUCH.
Everything was tasty...the guac was a little salty but otherwise all of the food was phenomenal. Pricing is fair for the plaza rent I'm sure that it's high there next to publix.
I love this place! I've never had a sit-down meal here, but I have picked up plenty of times. Very small location but looks clean enough. The ladies expediting and taking orders are so sweet and funny! On to the food, the salsa is hands-down the BEST salsa I have personally had. Equal amounts chunky and saucy, not too spicy but they do have spicier salsa (I believe anyway, don't quote me!). The restaurant seems to do well at accommodating special requests, which isn't 100% of the time but I didn't complain because I still enjoyed what I got lol.My biggest complaint is that they do not give you enough birria salsa to dunk your tacos in. Their birria tacos are amazing as are the azada queso street tacos. I've had almost everything from here and these are my new go-to items! Also, with ordering pick up, can I please have chips and salsa? Yeah I am not sitting down but normally they are served while awaiting the meal and I feel rude asking. Maybe I am and if the staff is reading this -- I am sorry! You guys rock! :)I do recommend if you are ordering lunch to-go, give them ample time unless you want to wait. I do not mind but I know how time restrictive some lunch breaks can be so definitely factor that in. I ordered 8 tacos around 11am and was driving from the Suntree area, even took the "scenic route" and still waited for a solid 20 minutes when I was told to be there in 15 minutes. 100% worth the wait and honestly, it just shows that they care about what is served.
I'll start by saying I wish I could do 3.5 stars. We were looking for some birria tacos & saw this place had good reviews. We ordered chicken street tacos & birria. The chicken was really good. We wish we ordered more of them. The birria sauce was where we were disappointed. It was very oily & didn't have much flavor. We tried mixing it but it continued to separate. I would return to try other options again but this is not the place for birria.
The Mexican tacos are good and I like the variety on the menu. Today we were the only customers in the restaurant when we walked in yet the waitress got my order wrong even after repeating it back to me. She also placed a very hot plate out of the oven directly in front of my toddler causing a burn to his hands when he grabbed it. She did not even warn us and the plate was supposed to go to my husband. She seemed busy chatting instead of paying attention. Very disappointed in the service and would like for the staff to be more careful with placing hot plates in front of us next time. We were only given half of the silverware that we needed so that was another miss that could have been avoided if she was paying attention. Please be careful with hot plates!!!
