Buyer beware - I ordered food, my order was not repeated back to me, when I got to the window to pay my bill was $10 higher than expected. Turns out I was charged for 4 items I did not order. The cashier proceeded to argue with me over the items I didn’t order. She swore up and down I ordered all that stuff even though I didn’t. It was late and I was hungry so I said whatever and took everything. Not only did I get charged for items I didn’t order, they couldn’t even get the order right. I used to be a long time Del Taco customer but I won’t be going back. Worst experience ever at any fast food restaurant. I urge you to steer clear unless you want your order to be wrong and be charged for items you didn’t even know you wanted.
Went here to try it out only thing got their regular tacos to see how it would compare vs the other one and only real difference i noticed was that they layered more cheese onto the taco and added tomatoes. Sauce from packets even tasted the same as the other. Didnt really like the fries with the tacos should have gotten tacos by themselves.
As a Cali native, my expectations were very high. This location did not disappoint. Very clean. Friendly staff. Generous portions, everything was fresh, went on a Tuesday and the 3 for,$3.49 was on point. Tacos filled to the rim, nachos evenly covered. I'll be back every week.
I don’t normally eat “fast” food. However, we stopped at a DelTaco on a road trip and I was pleasantly surprised. When we found out a location had opened near us, we were excited to give it a try. I believe they are newly opened and still working out the kinks. To be expected. The place was clean. The cashier was friendly. The food looks fresh. Prices are reasonable. They even have a decent selection of vegan and gluten free options.They weren’t very busy inside when we arrived. The drive through seemed to have a steady flow. There was a drive through attendant, the cashier and two employees preparing the food. We had one guy waiting for his to go order and a couple waiting at their table to get called for their order. Not sure what happens but orders that came in after us were completed and handed off to the customers. We see a manager and two other employees come out and start helping. It was getting busier. We are still waiting patiently. Finally the cashier notices we are still there waiting. She takes initiative and helps us get our order. She apologizes and we go to the car. Check the Oder. It’s incorrect. I went back in and they took care of it. No problem. I will say the food was not as good as we’ve had at other locations. One taco was all cheese, maybe two tiny pieces of tomato. Another taco was almost all shell. The nachos were good. The fries were good too. We will go back and give it another try once they’ve had time to work out the kinks. We love DelTaco. It’s worth a second chance. Fresh ingredients. Clean. Service with a smile. That’s what I’m looking for.
Hands down the best fast food tacos in the local area. The various meats are very clearly defined, no guess work unlike other locations. Vegetables are fresh. Employees are very friendly.When my kids are back from school they want to go here and my wife loves it what more can you ask for?
My kids and I love Del Taco. We ewt inside most of the time. Its usually pretty clean. We did wait this time about 20 minutes to get our order. My daughter ordered a small strawberry milkshake and they gave us a tiny milkshake. I brought it thier attention and they let us have the tiny one and got us a small one. We still like the taste of thier food and we like the fries quite a bit.
First time visiting a Del Taco, and likely the last. $8 for two of the smallest and most boring "tacos" I've ever seen, plus some soggy crinkle fries. Each taco had maybe 2oz of chicken, sprinkled with iceberg lettuce and cheese. That's it, nothing else on them. Reminds me of taco day at an elementary school cafeteria. Could have got fully loaded Chalupas from Taco Bell for that price, which is just a few more miles up Wickham. And they have fries, too. Wonder how much longer this place will remain a Del Taco...
I have always said that Del Taco is a better version of Taco Bell and that rings true here. Don't go in expecting Mexican food and you will be pleased.
Staff here was a good happy bunch. Food was good too.
I love this place! Their supreme nachos are very good, very tasty and filling. Chet had taco's & some nachos. We share!
