Very friendly staff. Great service. Nice strong coffee. the lemon poppy pancakes were delicious. Note, if you like your bacon on the crisper side, you may want to request it that way.
Fantastic experience cooking our own pancakes on the Griddle, kids loved it and they tasted amazing. Husband had an omelette which was huge. They were exceptionally busy and they did forget our sides but would it stop us going back definitely not. A lovely little find
Great atmosphere and service! The food was amazing on point with flavor. This is a busy restaurant for breakfast but definitely worth the wait. We waited 30 min for amazing service and food. Can’t get any better!!! We’re from Orlando and coming back to visit when we do. Thank you Backwater!
Ordered biscuits and gravy. Quite possibly the worst b and g I have ever had. In fact it was the worst. One biscuit although quite large, I tried but I could not force it down. Not inexpensive either.
Met dear friend for breakfast. He was amazed at the variety of choices, especially Fried Green Tomatoes! Food outstanding, service over the top, staff friendly, patrons friendly & happy. I will return with new friends soon!
This was a definite stop if you are in the Melbourne area. It’s a brunch style restaurant with a great atmosphere. You have the option to pick a table with a grill in front of you. I had the boss hog was incredibly amazing. It has cheese grits, sausage, bacon, and a sunny side egg on top, just phenomenal. Our waiter his name escapes me but a true example of hospitality. He said he was new but from my experience he was beyond qualified for his position. Make an effort to visit this restaurant the food isn’t expensive and they give you a good portion. 5 stars!
Fabulous bacon bloody Mary. Breakfast was great. I'm not sure what they've done with their sausage gravy, but it's the best I've had. So delicious! And the bacon? Wow!
The food was average but the attitude was so poor with the staff and the owner that made the food disgusting. Don't go if you want to just relax and eat some good comfort food. Trendy version of what you can just make it home why go out and experience poor attitude and give them money for it.
I already want to go back. We were visiting friends that live in the area and they were so excited to take us here. Service was great and the menu was even better. We made pancakes with different flavored batters and toppings in combinations we had never before thought of. The price was good and did I say we already want to go back?
This restaurant is hands down one of the best and unique places to eat!The food was amazing! The vegan gravy is addictive. Some tables have griddles for making your own pancakes. How cool is that. The kids loved it!Definitely worth the wait. We will be back when in the area again.
