The owner was there this morning and was yelling at everyone. The service was good but you could tell everyone was on edge. I will not be back.
Have visited this establishment twice now, based on the generally favorable reviews. I was also attracted by the Greek offerings in the menu. Having owned a Greek restaurant in Michigan, I enjoy Gyros and especially omelets with feta cheese, gyros, spinach and tomatoes. The server was quite excellent, but the kitchen made him look bad. On both visits, I ordered the same thing, a Grecian omelet with the addition of spinach. Twice the omelet came out totally wrong. The omelet was replaced but when the plate came out on the second run, the hash browns I had originally ordered were replaced with rather mushy home fries. In addition, both my companion and I had ordered English muffins with the omelets. Both were delivered nearly stone cold and as tough as nails. English muffins only get that way when they have been stored too long.I usually am willing to be understanding once when something goes wrong and the establishment makes the correction, but twice and over two weeks, the. I think there are more profound problems in the kitchen.I likely will not return…
Amazing food, great prices and the amount of food you get is great
Been away 2 years and soon as entered staff said, “Where ya bin?”This is why I support the mom and pop diners. Just like Cheers….Everybody knows your name?Such friendly staff
Staff, wait time, service all fine. Food just isn't great. I went looking for what I consider authentic Greek food. I didn't get that. We had a Greek platter and tuna sandwich. Gyro meat was bad, gamey and way to thickly cut. Tuna was not good. Overall it's a nice place depending on your expectations.
Food and service is really good. Definitely my favorite dinner in Melbourne.
The food is amazing, the service is amazing. But being charged $14 for two orange juice refills, when the meal for both my wife and I cost $20. Seriously? No thanks.
I like this place. The price of breakfast is a good value. The service is good and the food is pretty good. They have a huge menu and their dessert are also a large portion. I eat here once week. I just go for breakfast , I have not been there for lunch.
Breakfast was excellent. Cornbread hash, home fries just like meemaw made, scrambled eggs light and fluffy. I also got a biscuit and gravy it was as good as I've ever made and by the way I was a chef for thirty plus years. Thanks Apollo again
Well, there goes the diner I have been going to for the past 2 decades…. Grew up eating at Pops Casbah and when the place closed, the whole staff moved to Apollo. Things were great for a long time and then they sold to the most recent owners who have changed everything in the past 3 years. They even changed the fries. No more homemade pies, the burger meat is different, it’s all changed. So sad. Only a handful of regulars have stayed going there and it’s because they’re stubborn, not because they like the food.
