We were in the area for Tortuga Music Festival and came here both Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast. We sat in the same booth and had the same waitress both times. Eileen was so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food was delicious! We ordered the waffle combo and Philly Cheesesteak omelet the first day and both were absolutely delicious! We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the country breakfast the next day and again perfection. I would highly recommend you stop here for great casual and affordable dining experience!!
Hidden gem in the middle of Tamarac. Great breakfasts and lunches. A little Greek flare added to some of the dishes as well. VERY FRIENDLY staff! Found this place a couple of years ago and is now a staple for us. Laid back atmosphere and great service.
Had the opportunity to stop in here for breakfast on a Sat morning and was very happy with the experience. Was sat quickly despite having a large group and the waitress was quick to split the ticket and get everyone's order. I had a bagel delight which was essentially a BLT on an everything bagel with onion. It was very tasty and made a good breakfast. My friends were also happy with their selections which included a Philly cheese steak and biscuits and gravy.
Great place for breakfast!! Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back again.
Mom and Pop Breakfast Place. This place has it all folks. If you're looking for a cozy place with great, tasty breakfast food, look no further. I have been here 3 times and each time the service and food came out quickly. They serve waffles, toast, eggs (however you like it cooked), pancakes, sausage, bacon, omelette, grits etc. I personally got the Country Breakfast which came with hash browns, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties and eggs. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very fair. Come support this wonderful mom and pop place, you won't regret it.
Omg!!!! Okay guys if you want outstanding service and awesome food... mind you they do sell breakfast and lunch ! we went there for breakfast !!!! ... The food was outstanding nice and hot ! Our waitress name was Joanna and it happened to be her birthday!! But She gave us the birthday treatment!! She tapped our coffee twice... That's old school service they for you. You don't get that kind of service when you go out anymore. ...... Love this place wherever I return back to Florida It will be our new breakfast stop..
The service was good, the food was decent, but there was nothing special about Toasted Cafe. The price was reasonable for two people for breakfast. I would go back just because it's not a far drive.
Ordered here 3 times - once to dine in and twice to take out. For the dine in experience the staff were mostly neutral (not friendly, but not rude). They seemed professional with the their customer service skills. I ordered breakfast and the food tasted very bland, but it was edible.When I’ve ordered take out, the look on the host’s face and other (not all) staff seemed like they were reluctant to have me enter the establishment. I didn’t look homeless, I didn’t smell, so not sure what it was. (Maybe they made initial pre-judgements like “Oh, this person is not gonna leave a tip!”) Well with the looks you give, it may be a self-fulfilling prophecy - confirming initial thoughts of minuscule tipping. People - be mindful of the facial expressions around the company of your customers. Sometimes you never know what connections each customer may have (regardless of their physical appearance).Each time the take out breakfast orders were bland, but edible. Maybe I should’ve waited ‘till later in the day & ordered lunch, instead. I don’t plan on returning to this restaurant.
Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. Our server, Ilene was very attentive.
Went in for breakfast today. Had the waffle special. Two eggs and two strips of bacon. Wished they had fresh fruit for the waffles but still very good. Friend had the same except he had the French Toast. We both can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. Thanks for a great breakfast. See you next time.
