Be careful with this place. The restaurant manager (Karen) called the cops staying I was ‘threatening’ her for leaving a negative review. She also said I was ‘yelling at an underage minor’ also not true. I have the video to prove it. She is seen being aggressive and threatening to call the cops. Why would you call the cops for a negative review? Imagine the cops coming because of a ‘perceived threat’? Why would you say I was yelling if I wasn’t? All I could think of is bait. She was trying to bait me to get in trouble. True KAREN. Instead of providing customer service, you treat your customers like they’re worthless. As a veteran myself, I deserved better than this. All this because the Google listing was wrong. I was simply trying to bring it to their attention so other customers won’t be inconvenienced. No big deal. But instead of being grateful, they treated me like I did something wrong by bringing it up. Big mistake because I’m a great customer and supporter of local business. I hope this review inspires you to treat ppl better and to NEVER call the cops unless you have a valid reason. Do not use the cops as a weapon against customers. That’s cruel.
Took the family there this week. The food was amazing as usual. We visit every time we’re in town. Great service, food, and the staff is super friendly.
i’m very saddened that i’m writing this review i have been supporting Rooster’s for years i bring my family friends and over for lunch and dinner even introduced new people to the restaurant. April 2,2022 i order some food for take out and paid for it while waiting on the food outside after receiving our food my husband and i decided to eat the food there so we ask the server if we can have some missing condiments like ketchup,mayo,and etc than the server stated that his manager said we can’t eat take out food their i told the server well we already started next time i know not to do that so 2 minutes later the so call manager came outside acting as if she was looking for something just to look at me and go inside to come back outside to say that her big boss is looking at the camera like i was stealing something and said we have to leave , i was hurt not only that i spent my money at your restaurant and i can’t eat your food at your establishment i’m confused i didn’t bring outside food and sat down at your restaurant it was your food , wow is it because i’m was black ? well guess wait i know it doesn’t matter that i don’t come back anymore but i will surely share my story with others so they can know how i was treated
I don't think I've ever given a place one star before... when we walked in no one acknowledged us for a bit... just stood there awkwardly for a while. Eventually got seated, no real greeting though. The soda was flat or something. I ended up bringing in a bottled soda I had in my car to drink. The ranch dressing (for wings) didn't taste like ranch dressing... not sure what I was eating but it wasn't ranch. I only ate half my wings because of this. The fries were cold and not very good. The potato soup was good. The burger was good. The ice cream sundae was good. Nothing was great. Service was just okay. Won't be back.
I made an order @11:48 Am. This was a lunch order, and they told me that they food would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant and I waited 36 additional minutes to be told that the food was still not ready. I have a 30 minutes lunch break and this RESTAURANT allowed me to leave without lunch after they set the wrong expectation including how much time it would take to get ready. Honestly, you are better of going somewhere else. When this happens to you from this restaurant, remember you read this post!
Our first time there. Took forever for service and other patrons behind us also complained about how long it took for the food to come out and they just ordered sandwiches! The waitress was also terrible and didn't refill our drinks at all. Shame about the dine in experience because the food isn't bad. Also had the fried Oreos with ice cream. Yummy! Next time we'll just do take out though.
First off, I'd like to say that Roosters used to be Great but it has gone downhill ever since they moved to this location years ago, a steady decline in their food quality and presentation. My sister used to wait tables here, about 25 years ago, so we've been loyal patrons but this past Take out experience was our last. We ordered 2 Philly cheese steak sandwiches which were all bread and no filling. Seriously, if you are gonna over charge $.89 for every extra item, they better be over flowing in there, such BS. A large Philly that costs $15 with all the extras should be AMAZING, it wasn't even close to mediocre. The other thing we ordered was chicken thumbs (tenders) and those were sad as hell too, way over cooked, scanty little strips of nothing. Also, when you order fries or an onion bale, you get it in a Styrofoam container that has now melted from the hot oily mess and is seeping into your food. Great, thanks. In short, lol, way overpriced mediocre bar food. Don't know how it's gonna last if you're losing long time loyal customers.
The two stars are just because the food is really good. The service was horrible. We ordered take out. We were told 20 minutes. I asked a second time to confirm. Well it took 50 minutes. Plus the place was not that full. I suggest not paying until the food arrives. If it takes as long as mine did, you can leave.
Edit: This used to be our favorite restaurant. Their food quality has gone down a lot. They changed the gravy and cheese they used in their signature fries and other meals like The horseshoe and it's terrible. They went from 5 stars to 3 stars.This is a great family restaurant! Amazing friendly staff, clean kitchen, great food and reasonable pricing. They also have great specials for different Holidays! You haven't truly lived until you've had their horseshoe!
With only 5 customers in the restaurant, it took over a hour to recieve our food. Once it did show up, the Nacho's we're burnt black and still was served to us. I try not to complain but after trying them, the taste was awful. When I did bring this to the waitresss attention, all I received was blame for not saying something earlier. I asked her why she would even bring burnt black food to any customers table.Roosters, don't blame customers for a very bad mistake your cook, waitress and kitchen manager should of handled before it was served..
