There seems to be miscommunication within the staff team, probably understaffed too. The drive through seems to be priority, anyone ordering inside waits much longer. For example, a guy in front of me got his order and was given an empty cup for his drink. The fountain is no longer self serve bc of covid. He asked for the drink and was left waiting a solid 5 minutes for a Sprite. The staff seems very stressed and that tension is reflected inthe quality of service and food.
I went to this pollo tropical 5425 w Atlantic blvd margate fl. I was waiting in line for 15 minutes and then when it was my turn to order the manager told me to order use a phone, I told her I dont have a phone. She then said to go in the drive through, I told her I dont have a car I walked here . She then kicked me out of the restaurant. What kind of service is this.She the manager was very rude,and unprofessional.I highly dont recommend going to this pollo tropical.The manager is extremely rude, she dont smile and she walk away from customers if she is being ask a simple question.
CHECK YOUR FOOD. This is the 2nd and last time this I visit this location. I got a churrasco trio and got all the way home to realize THEY DIDNT ADD CHURRASCO. The first time I got a CHICKEN tropichop but they didnt put CHICKEN. Horrible and I will never be back.
I was excited when I noticed this Pollo was being built because it would be the closest Pollo to me but every time I order from here I get instant regret.They might as well shut it down. The chicken is always burned or dry. The tipping point for me today was my online order. This was my second order in a week and they messed up both. First day I ordered 2 1/4 chickens and checked that I wanted sauces and it was delivered with no sauce.With the second order, I even have in the special instructions to add sauces to my order and lo and behold my order arrived with no sauce and I even ordered yuca fries this time, something that comes with sauce!! Called corporate and the store no one answered. Don’t waste your money and go to another Pollo, this one is no bueno.
Highly recommend bring a whiteboard, and write out your order instead of explaining it. The cashier must be new because first of all she did not hear me right and just put pork but I asked for pollo and pork, also I asked for “all the way” and also didn’t receive that here is some pictures, just got home sweet home and found out order was not complete didn’t have “alltheway”.
I understand that some places might have to limit hours these days, but be up front about it if you aren’t going to provide any service. Put a sign up or something, instead of leaving five cars in the drive-thru, begging for any attention at all. Don’t just ignore everyone that drives up. And don’t bother calling in advance.... they don’t answer the phone either. It’s like no one works here at all. LIKE EVER.
Along with the rest of the reviews, this is the worst Pollo tropical I've ever been to. The service is so bad, employees don't care about your order or specific requests for salsa barbecue sauce plates etc. They literally ignore you or give you 1 of the 4 if you're even lucky. They have rude attitudes, which makes even come in here a disgrace. Drive-thru takes forever/always backed up. It's a shame that this is the closest one near me
The food was terrible and the cooks definitely need to be trained. Burnt chicken, pork was hard, portion sizes were skimpy. The rice was hard and not cooked through properly and the soda from the machines were flat.
The food at this location was delicious and served hot. I really enjoyed the professional presentation of my meal and customer service
My Mobile orders are NEVER ready no matter how long ago its been placed. Then I have to wait 20 mins for them to help everyone else out then get to my order... Also they never get my order right and the customer service is terrible, the manager here is horrible. Good food tho ??♀️
