The food here is fresh and tasty. Nicely decorated. The service was ok, a bit forgetful, perhaps understaffed. This is a good choice for Mexican food, just not my favorite.
This is the best Mexican food we've found in the area. Service was great, the food was delicious and the margaritas were perfect! The interior is decorated nicely so the whole place has a good vibe. Also, they played Bob Ross the whole time, which honestly is just fantastic.
This is a tricky review. First, we ordered the 2 quesadillas ala carte on the menu which were priced at $8.95 for 2. We ask for grilled chicken which was a $2.00 up charge. This should have came to $10.95, however, the waitress charged $7.50 twice. When we questioned the price she explained we ordered 2. When we showed her the menu where it said 2 quesadillas for $8.95 which she said there is a up charge of $2.00. We explained that we understood but $7.50 twice is $15.00 not $10.95. She wanted to continue to argue so we ask for the manager. He came to the table and kept trying to explain that 2 quesadillas should be charged at $7.50 even though the menu showed 2 for $8.95. After painfully discussing this issue for several minutes he begrudgingly fixed the bill. We explained to the manager that the menu should say 2 quesadillas for $15.00 and not $8.95 his response was next time we will know. I’m curious how many people this has happened to in the past. Now, as for the food it was good and very filling.

First thing to address is that this is no longer Vallarta’s. It’s San Jose Mexican Restaurant. We know Vallarta’s is great, so when we discovered the change as we arrived, we were cautious but gave it a shot. The people are very friendly. Food was disappointing. Our party all agreed on that, and we got a variety of items.
This place has never disappointed us. We always enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa, and every meal has been tasty, fresh and hot. Although we have never had bad service, this last visit we were lucky enough to have Chavez, who was fabulous! Not only was service terrific, he was a totally delightful person. We will certainly look for him next time we visit!
Worse steak tacos I’ve ever had! It has no flavor and the steak is so dry! Definitely not worth it!
Price on website is different. Was overcharged and when told the staff they just said that’s how it is. Other places would refund the difference. Also the food was very underwhelming. The chips were stale and food had no taste. The salsa was decent. The order was also messed up, asked for no mushrooms but they added to fajitas. I would recommend skipping this one…
Hands down the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. EVERYTHING was amazing from the chips & salsa to the margaritas and the main meals. I had a combo platter with tostada, Chile relleno and a Tamale and my husband got a platter with 5 different tacos and we loved everything we were served. I look for tamales everywhere I go and these are the best I've had probably ever! Nothing wrong with this restaurant. The staff was also very friendly and the prices were more then fair.. I'm mad I don't live closer so I could go here frequently!
