This is one of those places that you never forget what you ate. This a very unique restaurant with a warm family atmosphere. The service was AMAZING and the food was cooked to perfection. Plenty of food and if there's a special Italian plate that is not on the menu, just ask and they will most likely prepare it for you. The Cesar salad with the homemade dressing is delicious. You may bring your own wine but their selection is very good too.

5 of us went here for father's day & the food was ok overall. I got the pork chop which was delicious. As was the bruschetta (prob one of the best we've had) & tiramisu ? However, we also got 2 different chicken meals & neither tasted like they had much seasoning or flavor. We also ordered 2 pizzas. 1 Americano, which was good but nothing I'd rave about & another (can't recall the name) that didn't come with cheese.. which we didn't realize until it came out. We drove a good 40mins or so to get here so we probably wouldn't go out of our way to go back.

My parents and I came here for the first time to try the food before we had a family event here. I’m not sure if we just had a bad experience, but the food was just okay. The atmosphere was great, and the dining room was even quiet during a Wednesday night full of people! The food looked good, but lacked a lot of the flavor you’d hope would be in Italian food. The pasta dish my father ordered was full of liquid and very plain. He had to add salt and crushed red pepper. The pasta dish I ordered was undercooked. I am from an Italian family, so I’m very much aware of “Al dente.” Some of the noodles held a vertical shape on my fork when spun. The sauce itself was full of flavor, though! I did eat all of my food even if the noodles were a bit raw. The waitress we had told us that all of the meat dishes would have herbed risotto, but instead, came with couscous. The meat was a bit stringy, but the demi-glaze tasted okay. Overall, I think we’ll just stick with making food at home. Thank you for allowing us to taste your food, though!

This restaurant has been one I raved about. I have been a handful of times and it was always a good experience. I haven’t been in a long long time and brought someone last night who’s never been. The waitress was new, so not her fault. I ordered a merlot, she let me know they were out and would bring me a wine similar. She came back with a white wine. She then gave me a light red, nothing comparable. I switched to a Malbec, and it tasted like it was open but not sealed properly and it was bitter. Also refrigerated. But the wine wasn’t the main issue. The soup was good, but Luke warm. The pasta, wasn’t cooked! At this point, with uncooked pasta we just laughed and ate it anyways. We were going to get desert, and decided not to eat it there, as everything has been pretty bad from the drink to the dinner: we were there for almost two hours…..service was slow which is okay, but to have uncooked pasta? So disappointing.

Celebrated our 30th anniversary at Nabruzzi Trattoria, and it couldn't have been any better. The food is simply amazing, and our server (Ashley N) was the best. We got the Bruschetta Caprese and the Fiocchi Di Enzo as appetizers (the Fiocchi in particular was unbelievable), the Pollo Valentino and Aragosta Ravioli Galietta as entrees (both incredible), and a couple of dessert choices (one was a specialty, an apple CAKE with chocolate covered bacon... OMG!). They even gave us a free cannoli to celebrate the occasion, and it was one of the best I've ever had. They even have pizzas and selections for kids as well. Loved every minute and every bite!!

My wife and I ate here at Nabruzzi Trattoria over the weekend. It is located 6062 Van Dyke Rd, Lutz, FL 33558 across from Carlton Arms Apartments; inside the shopping center. We ended up here due to the restaurant we planned on visiting was closed and we were wanting something italian. We arrived between 5pm and 5:30pm. Parking can get tight so you might want to show up early; however, the inside is very accommodating with plenty of seating. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately welcomed by the front desk and a friendly and vibrant staff. The atmosphere just felt different (if that makes sense) as compared to going to your casual franchise. While being escorted to our table you could see the open working station, plenty of seating, and the continued welcoming atmosphere. We sat in the farest section (to the left near the window). The waitress was "polished"; I wish I could remember her name. She really knew her menu and mentioned just about anything can be made since everything is made "from scratch and fresh" as long as the chef has all the ingredients. With that said, we decided to order spaghetti with meatballs and chicken parm. WOW, is all I could say. I didn't know what to expect, but I had an assumption based on what you'd expect from those franchises. I could without a doubt have a sense of "freshness" like I never experienced before as not only did the meatballs and chicken parm taste absolutely fantastic but even the noodles tasted different and the salads were very vibrant with color. I will stop here as talking about this is starting to make me hungry for a re-visit, lol. I will be revisiting again soon enough. On a side note, we did not try the pizza, but we heard a couple behind us saying how delicious it was and we saw several people carrying multiple pizza boxes out the door; therefore, this is on our agenda at the next visit. Overall, the restaurant was one of those "feel good places" and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, freshness, and a "on top of it" staff from the top-down and bottom-up.

We have been coming here for 4 years and have ALWAYS had great food. Tonight was different. It didnt taste as good as all the other times before and we left hungry which has never happen before. I decided to look at my photos and bingo the portions are now smaller. Prices r same but less food. Why do that. I have attached a photo of the pork shank. Bottom pic is from tonight and top is March 2021.

I decided to try them out via Uber eats and ordered the vodka pasta with tagliatelle. There is absolutely nothing vodka-like or creamy about this pasta whatsoever it was undercooked tagliatelle and a splash of marinara sauce not even having the capability to cover all of the noodles with half of the noodles clumped together. It’s probably the most flavorless pasta I’ve ever had in my life and I eat pasta like 10 times a week so I’m extremely shocked here. I would hope that it’s just a one time mistake but if this is how they make their pasta and people think that this is good then it’s sad to say that so many people have never actually had a decent pasta.

The service was outstanding and the food was amazing!! My husband had the veal saltimbocca and I had the Chicken Valentino. Both were cooked to perfection, full of flavor and tastefully presented. We were greeted with smiles, seated promptly and the server was flawless. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning! Bravo!

Absolutely amazing from the food to the staff ! FIVE STARS ⭐️!!! Definitely recommend!
