Grand reopening. Very busy, but the service was fast. It has a nice open layout compared to other dunkin doughnuts establishments I have been too. The service was friendly and the air conditioning works well. The giant doughnut walking around was a little scary. Like would it seek retribution for all of its little children we had eaten over the years.
Placed a mobile order from this store which we picked up at the drive through. 5 drinks, none of which were drinkable. None were made correctly. 1 purple unflavored water that was supposed to be a blueberry lemonade, 2 pale yellow raspberry lemonades which were vaguely sweet tasting but with no real flavor either, 2 peach passion fruit lemonade refreshers that must have been mango instead because I started having an allergic reaction after one disgusting sip and my friend drank a few more sips of hers trying to figure out what was in the drink and broke out in a rash from by the time we returned home. I am not certain that part of the horrible flavor wasn’t cleaner now. I called Dunkin corporate support and was escalated due to the allergic reaction only to be told they can’t issue refunds on individually franchised stores. I called the store to be told that they could possibly issue a refund if I came back to the store with proof of purchase. The store being nowhere near our current location. The supposed store manager also didn’t seem to care about the allergic reaction or the implications of that. Basically this whole experience is enough to make a person leery of the entire brand.
Went to get my normal, everyday coffee at dunkin on 54 in Lutz and there were about 10 cars in line. After waiting approximately 12 minutes, seriously, at the order intercom with no response, I decided to just drive up to the window. Big sign on only the pickup window that says closed. I had to back up and tell the rest of the people waiting that they were closed. How about putting a notice on the big street sign that says closed for Easter? Or put cones in front of the drive through line? You ruined my Easter dunkin owners! And about 10 other families too. Thanks!
11am March 22nd, drive thru employee sounded stoned kept calling me dude and tried to gas light me on the offers available. Giant advertised $3 Coldbrew was not only not honored, he said they forgot to take it down. Fine, it's still on my Dunkin App so I'll order on that. He said Nah, can't help you there dude. I'll just avoid this Dunkin because this isn't the first bad experience I've had here.
I literally have to SPELL OUT my coffee order for these people and the last 3 times they still get it wrong. Old crew that worked there was good and even friendly, but now it’s a bunch of stoners who can’t even make a simple cup of coffee.
Thank you to Dakota. He made our quick visit for coffee and catching up awesome. He ensured our muffin was fresh. Extremely friendly!
We walked in and no one was at the front counter, but we could count 4 people about 2 ft away from the register. Almost looked like they were hiding behind the coffee machines. Those 4 employees were talking amongst themselves without any clue that we were standing there. Then we had 4 other people walk past the counter, 3 of which saw us but kept going about their current task. They didn't acknowledge us, or ask if anyone was helping us. Nothing. Then eventually a couple of the employees who had walked past us, did so again. We asked if anyone was working the register. One of the employees waved is off and said "we'll get to you". Mind you, the 4 closest to the register still didn't even attempt to turn around or do anything. We decided to leave. As we walked out, the one who waved us off, sarcastically yelled have a nice day. My husband walked back in and yelled at him about the sarcasm. I kid you not, almost a dozen employees popped, out alarmed. One of the employees started trying to tell my husband to calm down, at this point I told them there were at least 6 opportunities to acknowledge or help us. They basically all looked like they had no idea what happened. I'm not sure why there are so many people there and literally no one attempted to even take our order. As we walked out I said that if none of them wanted to be there, they should look for other jobs. I get there is an employee shortage but if you hate your job that much, find one that's better.
There was one woman waiting at the counter when I walked in. She said she has been waiting 5 minutes and noone acknowledged her even though there were 3 employees (unmasked) making food right behind the counter. She got frustrated and left. I waited about 5 minutes and I was not acknowledged as well even though employees saw me standing there. A horrible experience and I will not be back to this location. The Bruce B Downs location is much much better. I will take the extra few minutes to go there instead.
In and out in 3 minutes. So friendly. So super fast. Even drove out of my way to go there. Always fast and courteous
worst service ever we had to walk out never will go back to that one
