Ordered 3 family bundles for Mother's Day. The order was perfect, and on time. The food was really good. We had the salmon with the bourbon glaze, rice, salad, coleslaw, corn and chicken tenders with honey mustard. Everything was great and more than enough for the 8 of us. Thank you for the great service. Can't remember the name of the lady that brought the food out for me, but she was really helpful and attentive.
Four of us arrived a few minutes after noon today. The entry is awkward with a sign saying the revolving door is not working. One guest in my group said it seems to have been like that for several months. There was a curved wood panel, where a pane of glass would typically be, so perhaps they are still unable to get a replacement. What made it even more awkward trying to enter is that we were unable to open the hinged door to the left. We were wondering if the restaurant was closed. We tried to open the hinged door to the right and eventually succeeded but it took two of us to pull it open. Neither hinged door or the revolving door had a sign directing use of the appropriate door. Once we entered we were promptly greeted and taken to a nice booth, though I was surprised how few people were there at that time. Perhaps traffic was heavier today at the traditional Mexican Restaurants with it being Cinco de Mayo. We were still hoping for some type of special in celebration of the day. We had a wonderful server, Sheryl D, and though we had hoped for an entree with a Mexican flare and there wasn’t anything, 2 of us did order Margarita’s and they arrived in a wonderful large salt rimmed glasses. We agreed they were great. One of my guests ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer as her entree. Two others ordered salads with chicken and pecans. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp platter. Though absolutely delicious it was certainly more than I could finish. It’s been years since I’ve been to this Cheddar’s, in spite of the frustrating entry, we enjoyed our beverages and meals, with a server who is obviously experienced interacting with people and understanding timing of what’s happening at the table.
This place was awesome! One of the best country fried chicken dishes I have ever had. Steak was decent, not the absolute best, but good. Even though it was really busy the service was still pretty good, and the portions are pretty generous for the money.
Great service! Awesome food and for a low price. Our server was just turned 21 and he was very couple and polite. Made sure we were happy and felt welcomed! I feel like he's a future manager for Chedders! Exceptional job. We will be back, happily!
Birthday Celebration! Two Tampa sisters met Ocala sister and hubby to celebrate Tampa Trola’s birthday. We had a comfy large booth and had a leisurely lunch. A festive time was had by all thanks to our very personable and efficient waiter, Blaine. He deserves five stars and more. He offered menu tips and certainly made up for a couple of menu items that were unavailable. We enjoyed wraps, burger, pot pie and a specialty sandwich with sides. Portions were very generous and prices reasonable. Blaine even surprised us with a Birthday dessert with some mighty fine lettering. Thank you for ensuring our get together was memorable and fun!
Had a to go order last night and demonte Crystal came out not prepared proper and this morning the manager replaced it and also gave me a club soda beverage excellent management Cheddar's is always a fine place to dine
Nice waitress, good service and food. But all outweighed by the meat-locker-cold temperatures. Everyone was freezing at our table and at the ones around us, though 72 degrees outside. Mentioned it to the waitress at the beginning and she said they turned it up but we didn't notice a difference. It made our gathering less comfortable and we would think twice about meeting there again.
The honey butter croissants were amazing as usual. My wife and I shared the ribs and shrimp dinner with mashed potatoes for both sides. Everything tasted wonderful. My only complaint is that I didn't have enough grilled shrimp.Our server did a wonderful job. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't been there before.
I just called to make a reservation for a birthday dinner and the lady said they didn’t accept reservations so i asked if there was a wait time and what it would be, she rudely responds “ i don’t know” and hangs up right after she says that. I don’t complain about customer service or even have an account on google but i had to make one because her customer service is ridiculous. I was trying to have a nice dinner and she ruined the mood with her attitude. Made me not want to go in and i definitely won’t be going back to a place with rude staff.
The croissants are from heaven! The ribs fall off the bone!!! The strawberry,mango and peach lemonade was EVERYTHING!!!??
