The food is pretty good. Your not going to get a bbq duck pizza here like Emril’s or gluten free dough. What you will get is honest home made food. For our family what makes this our go to place is 1) It’s not a chain .. you come into the place your going to see the owner there making the food, he’s friendly and can tell he cares. He’ll be quick with a nod or hello but it’s back to making good food. 2) Everyone there is friendly, the staff I would classify as “Younger” they are beyond courteous, respectful and friendly. You won’t see any attitude or kids texting in their phones versus most other establishments . 3) The wings are bigger and meatier than the local sports bar, in fact most of the non pizza items we’ve ordered we would order again. A genuine neighborhood joint.
Went there last night. Looked at menu 3 days ago on website . Prices were a lot less. I told them spaghetti was $7.85 on there website menu. They first said we don't have a website. Then said because of co-vid, I said that started 2 years ago. Then they said you must have looked at another Capri. I said no I pulled up Capri at Lutz Lake Fern Crossing and called you on the phone. They are liars. I walked out. Today I see the website they said they never had has been updated to reflect the new prices. Disgusting !
Solid pizzeria that punches above its weight. Efficient service. Generic interior. Pleasant staff. Ordered a meatball and mushroom pie to go. Toppings were generous. The pizza could have stayed in the oven for another 30 seconds. I'd definitely go back. Subtract a star if you're from the NY metro area.
I ordered delivery.Pizza is fine.Baked ziti is a joke. No cheese at all! Thin layer of noodles, with flavorless meat sauce. Totally not worth the price and not baked ziti by any means.
The food at Capri rates higher than two stars; however, missing items have no taste at all. Three of our last four orders have had items missing. This evening it was sausage for a spaghetti dinner and a two liter bottle of Coke. Last time it was extra cheese on a pizza. We wish they would get it together because we want to like them.
I would give this place O stars if I could. My husbandordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, which says comesover pasta, but received a sandwich instead. Triedeating the sandwich, but it was absolutely disgusting.No flavor, and soggy.I ordered stuffed shells for myself, and was extremelydisappointed. The pasta wasn't cooked all the way, andthe sauce was very watery and bland.We also ordered the fried mushrooms, which wereinedible as well. Fried in too low of temperature, andcompletely flavorless.Lastly, dessert. How can anyone screw up a slice ofcake, right? Well, leave it to this place. The cake was dry,and tasted old.We ended up having to eat cereal for dinner. I will nevereat at, or recommend this place ever again.I tried reaching out to the restaurant itself, but theydidn't care.Luckily, we ordered through UberEats and received afull refund.
So far we had the chicken parm sandwich and eggplant parm plate, thick pizza and garlic knots. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! We definitely found our “go to” local pizza place.
