The food was awesome. Truly good home cooked meal. I had the liver and onions and it was sooo good. The young man who served us pulled up a chair and sat with us to take our order. He was such a sweetheart. Will definitely go again.. Wolfy's is a gem. Do yourself a favor and support this great little family style restaurant.
I love this little place! It's a typical diner menu in a Florida town! The pot roast is great and their sandwiches are made very healthy and fresh...breakfast, lunch or dinner you can't go wrong. And the wait staff are attentive super friendly and your glass never gets to half empty! The coffee is good too...it's a great place to go as you are no fancy stuff going on just good homestyle cooking.
The food was delicious! Real hamburgers made on site. Portions were generous. Service was extremely friendly. Roseanna was fantastic! Contemporary Christian music was playing and was not too loud. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. If we are ever in the area again, we will go again.
I always love going to Wolfy's The food is great the staff is great and I also love their taco salad so if you like taco salad give it a try. Went today with a friend they were packed but they are always accommodating and get you a seat as soon as possible and it's a minimal wait for your food not long at all. I believe the waitress we had today was Candy but I'm not positive, but they're all great and friendly I've been going there since the '80s.
The food has been great and so has the service. I have had a few different servers each time I have been here and they each did a great job. I haven't had a dish here that I haven't enjoyed yet. I will continue to be a return customer..
Well they were a little busy, but we did get in rather quickly, how ever it was 30 minutes before the food came out and it was warm. Other folks had gotten there order that came in after us so who knows. We didn't order anything out of the ordinary. They obviously had some kitchen issues or something, the server never came out to say they were running a little behind so I'm not sure what was going on. Second time this has happened there, we've always heard good things about Wolfy's, but a little disappointed.
We got there at 715 on a Sat night. They close at 8. They were out of soup, chicken and the prime rib special I ordered rare was well done. I sent it back and that was all they had so re-ordered. My husband liver and onions was very thin and over done. The corn muffin was good but we had to ask at the end of the meal for my husbands which did not come with the meal. My parents absolutey love this restaurant but if you come make it over an hour before closing time.
We've gone to Wolfy's several times but never had a decent meal. Their prices are expensive for what you get in comparison to other restaurants around. They are almost always busy and a good place for seniors that want bland plastice food. Their taco salad is nothing but a small bunch of lettuce with some taco chips and a little bit of chili with shredded cheese.
My mother in-law, she likes eating there on Friday, all you can eat fish, but she brag about it, so my husband got something like nachos cheese chicken jalapeno, ect. And me a plain Belgian waffle, it was hard, it was cold, and the syrup top I couldn't open, so I took the top off, needed butter, but the waitress was to busy talking, to acknowledge me standing up, so I had to hunt down butter myself. And my husband took the 1st bite of his nachos and there was sharp bone, it was painful by my husband reaction, we told the waitress, and she like there is no bone, well okay then, there is something sharp? So end of this, don't go between 2-4 p.m., it sucks! But there is a place in Leesburg, call My Cousin Vinny, try it out, great service, and great food. Also we spent over $40.00, and it wasn't even a dinner, I was so disappointed at Wolfy's.
This is one of the best breakfast spots in town! You'll always be served promptly and they remember your face and maybe even your order after only a couple visits. The food is good, home style comfort food, and the atmosphere is cheerful and friendly.
