Stopped in for lunch one recent workday on the recommendation of someone who had previously been to the restaurant. Parking was a challenge. It's on the street and that could mean several blocks over. The interior is fairly small, so keep that in mind. The menu is straightforward and quite simple. No burgers, no fries, no hot dogs, or those sorts of things. Sandwiches, salads, wraps... you get the idea.I ordered a pretty basic ham and cheese on rye, hold the tomato and the mayo, but a side of mustard. It came with a pickle that I didn't try, and very fresh rippled potato chips. The sandwich was good. Fresh, soft bread, no curling meat or cheese... the sandwich had clearly just been made. I also had a bowl of the Italian wedding soup. It was canned soup, so go on that info.My colleague ordered a Waldorf salad with chicken. She said it was very good, including the tiny bit of pumpkin bread that came with it. Overall, I thought the salad was a little small for a meal portion. She did finish the entire thing. She also bought one of the little pumpkin breads to take home. The unsweetened iced tea was nice, not bitter. My colleague had plain water as they had no sparkling. We did not have dessert. We sat for a bit waiting for the check until a helpful server (not the semi-grumpy one (no cheerfulness, no smile, no back and forth, just short answers... acted like we were bothering her-maybe she was having a very bad, no good day)told us we had to go to the counter to pay. The other servers (two others checked on us) were very warm and friendly. No worries! We paid and used cash for the tip jar. We'd stop by again if we were hungry for a light lunch. Not the best place ever by a long shot, but certainly adequate for our needs that day.
Wonderful home made food. Cute Cafe. This was my second visit within two weeks.. I will return. I love the Main St. Downtown area in Leesburg.
Love this place so cute and very nice. Awesome staff. Can’t go wrong w a stop in
While staying in Leesburg, we visited the Florida Porch Cafe twice. We enjoyed the coffee and flourless chocolate cake so much the first time we had it on the second visit. The other patrons seemed quite happy with their meals and the staff was excellent.
They hosted our Ladies Luncheon with outstanding food and service despite a full house. We’ll definitely return again and again!
Four of us ate lunch and all four of us rated our meals a five! Super neat decor as well. Would go there again when in Leesburg.
Average but with a quirk…. If you come with a group, they limit what you can order to only what’s on their “group menu”. Fixed price of $16. Quiche was delicious. Fruit was canned. Took a long long time to get our food. It was served on a styrofoam plate. I was not impressed and won’t return.
Very cozy place to eat lunch. Had a spinach and feta quiche. It was delicious. They also have small space in the restaurant that sells old furniture, antiques, and speciality food items (bottled). I purchased horseradish aoli.
