The curb appeal on this place is rough. It is very nice and clean inside. The food was not so great. Everything was just flavorless—no seasonings. The tacos came out absolutely saturated in grease. I ordered a dinner portion item and as you can see in my photo I got barely enough rice and beans to feed a child. Our waiter was a bit flaky too. She kept running behind the bar to talk on the cellphone.
This has long been a favorite of ours. But lately it has been really off its game. Food is not hot, meat tastes like it has lots of gristle in it, slow service. Tonight the waitress even forgot our order after about 10 mins and had to have another waitress come take our order again. That should have been the first warning. The cheese in the enchiladas wasn’t even melted. And the fajitas were not sizzling when they came out. The peppers and onions were still raw tasting. Sorry guys but this hasn’t been the first time. Unfortunately for us after wasting $70 we won’t be back.
1st time & enjoyed it a great deal, new favorite local place. Do the Patron tequila pitcher. Enjoyed fajitas for lunch. The salsa has a decent bite to it as well. Thanks Amayranet Lupita, our server for attentive service ! We'll be back for sure.
Food was very good, portions were a little light but the quality made up for it. In particular the pork tamales are fantastic and SJ does not use an over abundance of hot spices to make up for a lack of flavor like many mex places. The one bad thing was after a certain hour, they turned on country music at such a volume that you could not have any sort of conversation even by yelling. That’s thankfully about when we were done and we left quickly.
This place is awesome. I usually go only to food trucks and “Mexican stores “for my food. I live close to this place and notice the traffic and cara so I went I’ve been several times for pick up. Food is amazing. For the record California burrito is outstanding. Burgers are outstay. Combo dinners are outstanding. Just to say food is outstanding
I love the food and margaritas, best in town. The service is usually great, but not this past Friday March 3. I sat at the bar and the server seemed annoyed by me, never smiled and I had to wave her down every time I needed her, like for my drink, to order my dinner, and asked for a box twice. I'm a good tipper but she was lucky she even got one.

I have seen dinner side-salads that are bigger. The drinks are all from powdered mixes. There were 5 tables that were seated after us and all were served waaay before we ever were. Taco Bell has this place beat hands down!
Stopped by in passing and felt as though we found a hidden gem. The food was excellent. Margaritas were on point. The staff was very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious dinner… excellent margaritas. Chips and salsa were fresh snd tasty. I had a combination dinner plate and it was great. Servers and staff were kind but efficient !
