After two visits here and two different meals I consider this place a good and friendly place to dine.
Took out daughter who was visiting we enjoyed and meals were very good.
Melissa is a delight! The service was perfect. We went on "Burger night" Some of the best burgers, period.
Last night I ate at Plantation Oaks. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. It couldn’t have been better. The flavor was great and it was huge. And for $9.98 it was a bargain. My table mates ordered hamburgers. They said they were cooked exactly as ordered.
Meatloaf is outstanding, as is the service. We consistently do carryout for not only sandwiches, but also full dinners. Everything is fresh and tasty.We really appreciate the new menu, servers and management. A welcomed addition to this place.
We are enjoying the new menu and hours of operation. The prices for the food are quite reasonable as well as the portion sizes. We attended the St Patty's Day special dinner and the food was delicious and we are looking forward to the next special event dinner.
Meatloaf was some food service heat and serve variety that tastes like lots of artificial commercial flavorings. The only good thing on the menu was the club sandwich which has been discontinued. The fries and in house chips taste of used fryer fish oil. Staff is friendly and that is it.
Friday evening table service in the bar room is very slow. Bartender was the only one waiting tables. Dinner arrived 40 minutes after ordering. Very limited menu. Very few choices that weren't deep fried. No fresh vegetables except for side salad. The baked salmon was perfectly cooked with a nice lemon pepper seasoning.
I like to go here about once a week for their liver and onions. This time it was a little overdone, but it doesn't take long for that to happen. Most often times though the liver has been perfect with plenty of fried onions. I usually opt out of the vegetable medley, however I did pilfer off with my dining partners plate only to find the vegetables done perfectly. For some reason the mashed potatoes tasted off this time, so I did not finish them and ordered a side of french fries instead which came to me quickly.
Always a fun time. Great food service is great..bartender is very attentive.
