Not a bad place. Close to a 4 star. Quite popular with the locals. Has a Cuban food and some more unusual Cuban food. Good service, could be slightly better and I am sure will continue to improve quickly.Menu has a large selection, and a couple of appetizers might truly qualify as a meal.
The food was amazing, once we finally got it. But the wait staff was horrible. It took over 2 hours for us to get our food and when the food arrived, only half of the order came out, it took an additional 30 minutes to get the remaining food.
I loved this place so much before it shut down and reopened recently. The food is still very good and authentic but they took the combination plates off the menu, these were such a big draw and such a great deal and that was such a huge mistake. Also, I know they just reopened but the service is very slow, hopefully they will get the hang of it soon and things can get back on track.
Food was okay. Service was slow. Waited to be acknowledged, waited a while for drink order to be taken. Had to ask for chips and salsa. Dinner took forever once order was placed and had to ask for drink refills and extra napkins. Was not overly busy when we visited. Seemed adequately staffed. Food tasted okay. Just okay
We stopped for lunch today...this place was so clean, the staff were very pleasant and the food was awesome! A lot of food with very good prices. We will definitely be regulars here!
Where to begin.. Came here with my father to check it out, and will never be returning again. The waiter kept pressuring my father to order a drink, even after he said no multiple times. My Margherita had a strange taste to it, and I asked for a water instead. They never brought the water, and never came back to attend our table. After 20+ minutes we finally got up and left. Staff (including the manager) is not service oriented and quality of chips and drinks are not good. Bad way to start a business.
Eat Here! I moved from California and been looking for good Mexican food. Saw the place was busy so went on a Sunday at 3:30 PM and not many people were there and I was a bit skeptical. It was the best Mexican food I have had in Florida. Best place within 500 mile radius. I got the caliente molcajete it was AMAZING! Just look at the picture! Check out the rice!I can't wait to try the Cuban food next time I go there. I don't like mixing ethnic foods but if it is as good as the Mexican food I am in for another treat!The waitress was very accommodating and on top of her game. Manager stopped by and made sure we were taken care of. When we left the place was almost packed with people.Well done Los Cabos!
Came here for dinner. It was excellent. The restaurant has been completely remodeled and renovated. The Google listing calls this place Los Cabos, which is the name of the corporation which owns it. However the actual name of the restaurant is El Ranchito.The restaurant was well-lighted and very clean. All of the tables and chairs and booths use colorful artisan fabric from Mexico. We were promptly seated and our server was courteous, prompt and very helpful.The menu has traditional Mexican favorites AND several Cuban dishes as well. Tonight we ordered from the Cuban portion of the menu, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chips and salsa brought to our table was excellent. Very obvious that the salsa was freshly made. We ordered croquetas de jamón for the appetizer. Our entrees were pollo en fricasé and masitas de puerco (fried pork chunks). Both entrees were superb and portion sizes were very generous. I also asked for some hot sauce, and a it was indeed hot! It is yellow in color and it will light you up. It was so good.We will come back again and again!
Quick service, wonderful food and friendly staff. My husband and I both got the California burrito ? it was massive and well worth it for the price. We went home with boxes of food left! We most definitely will be coming back. We'll be bringing our friends and family next time.
Great food and service. My husband had the hot and spicy burrito and he said it was a really good one. I had the chicken taquitos. They were very juicy. Chips and salsa were very good.
