Before moving to Florida from New Jersey we had always heard you can't find really good pizza in Florida. Well, yes we have. Great pizza and other Italien dishes. Portions are large and delicious. Great service too, and the prices are very reasonable.
LONG REVIEW ALERT!!! (it'll be worth it, lol).Where I do, I begin... I was hungry.. lol, no, I was n on a road trip, so in unfamiliar territory.... I saw NY style pizza an owwwwww as a New Yorker, I hate to see that statement and it not be trueeeeeee, sooo in we went.....We are greeted with warm smiles as soon as we enter which I loveeee!!!! And right away, I get a very quaint, comfortable family vibe. Booth sesting... family table n highcounter... warm colors, yes very comfortable....Took a look at the menu... found a veggie pizza option... exchanged a few toppings, order a Med...12 inch...*Garlic knots because when doing Italian; GARLIC KNOTS!!!!!* Stromboli filled with Mottz and Spinach because Yessssss!!!!!*CONNOLISSSSSSSS!!!!!.While we waited for the pizza, we found ourselves in a nice chat with Jimmie, the Owner... he was super cool and relatable, proud veteran (Thank ?? you for your service). We notice Garlic Knots on the menu n decide to order, he say oh let me whip those up for you and 10 mins later...THE GARLIC KNOTSOmg the first 3 didnt even make it to the marinara sauce... seasoned with gentle perfection, oh man, they melted in your mouth!!!!! We ate all 6 while we waited for our pizza and Stromboli....THE PIZZA!!!!Pineapple, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, jalapeños... DEEEEEE(%#
The calzone is the best. Their dough is not like any other pizza place around here. Priced right and clean established. Thanks for working during the pandemic and recovery afterwards. God bless
Inconsistent food; unwilling to make things right when they make an error; very rude staff!!Re: Reply......Yes,I am proud of myself for being honest and telling it like it is. It was never offered to make the issue right! I was told 45 min wait for my order (no problem) the order was ready at the 1 hour and 25 min mark, while we saw other people walk in and place orders and receive their food before us. THEN, one pizza was done wrong and I was told, “sorry but we are extremely busy” . You made a mistake, if you weren’t willing to fix it at least offer some sort of a credit for another time. You certainly knew we waited twice as long as what was told to us. We never complained.AND, I never said I had an issue with the previous owners, they are my friends! We ate there very regularly when they owned Mama’s! They are awesome people! I said I noticed the inconsistencies in food and service after the ownership change. What is sad is that a local, small business would rather argue and mistreat a client than admit they made a mistake and offer to make it right.
My husband likes the pizza. I do not seems always burnt on top yet bottom crust is soggy. My husband says it's the cardboard that makes it like that.I tried a chicken parm sub. No don't like that either . It was like a piece of breaded chicken cut up into 4 small pieces. Roll so soggy. Couldn't pick it is without it falling apart.Sorry but chicken seemed like frozen chicken. Roll terrible. 3 stars because my husband likes the pizza.
Tried it for the first time today and I loved it ! I also tried the meatballs and they were delicious… you get 2 per order and the size is just perfect. The pizza was delicious and not greasy at all. I’ll definitely be back.
this little hidden gem is super amazing with outstanding customer service, when I first moved to leesburg, I was worried I wouldn’t find a good pizza place but one day I got on my phone and typed “best pizzas around me” this hidden gem was the first one to pop up along with others, the name caught my attention as I am from New York.let me tell you, this place did not disappoint, the food is super fresh, you can just taste the difference, the wings are so tasty especially extra wet ? the service is phenomenal, the owners are super sweet people and the workers are just super helpful and patient with you.if anybody is looking for great pizza and amazing service, look no further and come see this place! you won’t regret it.
Just went to Brooklyn Pizzeria. Got a large 1 topping pizza. It was delicious. Met and talked with the owner and his wife. Very friendly and welcoming. It's a cozy place to enjoy food and friends. Owner told us they are moving within the same shopping center to a larger place. I can see why they are having success. Personal service and great food!! Oh yeah, try the cannoli!!
You need to look for this place to find it - then you’ll be glad you did. Tucked alongside Winn Dixie it’s easy to miss - which is a shame, as the food and service is excellent. We usually get pizza - but they have appetizers to entrees and everything in between - incl beer and wine! Prices are more than reasonable, quality is excellent, and portion sizes are generous - what more can you ask? They are often BUSY, and like most restaurants short staffed, but service is always pleasant and as prompt as possible in these crazy times. Quality food cooked to order takes time! They offer both lunch and dinner specials- to go or in house. Owner is on site and hands on - and it shows. You can get delivery through GrubHub et al - but remember, both you AND the small business pay a fee for that - so just go pick it up yourself, meet the staff, save yourself a few bucks and support your local small business!
Look no further! This pizza is fantastic! Customer service is also wonderful! They greeted each customer as if they knew them personally and made you feel the same when you left. We ordered a pick up of garlic knots and a x large cheese pizza. Both were delicious!
