If I could give it less than one star I would.. Besides the very rude as she said 60 something year old he/she/them/her/ woman that answered the phone telling me that by asking for what we paid for was a threat...find your safe space... 45.00 for a large pizza that arrived stone cold and what they are calling hot wings(also stone cold).but no garlic rolls, which i am convinced would have been useless to eat as well ...never again..stay away at all costs...yours to be exact.
I started ordering from Poppys in 1987, I ordered Baked Stuffed Shells & was hooked. Became friends with the owner & never went anywhere else. I recently got something from them that’s different, a Philly Cheesesteak & the meat was tender, not a lot of fat. The vegetables were crisp but cooked & the cheese was melted properly. Hands down the best Cheesesteak I ever had! 5 stars plus!!!!
First time I tried them, they were ok, really thick crust, so we tried them again and got their thin crust- Now that was some delicious Pizza. We also tried the garlic wings and I wouldn't recommend them as they lack flavor. Like plain fried wings covered in minced garlic- , but the pizza again was delicious! If you like thick dough then go for the regular crust but if not, make sure you get thin crust. Enjoy!
Love this place. Staff is always friendly. Pizza slice is huuuge for slices. Other pizzas are delicious. No inside dining takeout. I think they have delivery but never used it. I suggest call ahead and then pickup. Only two persons allowed inside at a time
Ordered 3 boxes of pizzas all came uncut and not fully cooked right also asked for light sauce on them and unfortunately it didn’t come that way. I called the place to let them know about the order but they didn’t offer anything to fulfill my order, never coming again don’t waste your time and money.
I want to share my experience. We have been a loyal customer of Poppy's for many years and love the food. My family has enjoyed the many dishes and continue to do so.Poppy's food began with the patriot who showed his customers authenitic Italian cuisine. The tradition has continued. The wonderful sauce is like no other. As a one time native New Yorker I know that this restaurant is a taste of honest-to-goodness delight .I have had reliable, friendly and respectful phone ordering. Be patient as just imagine that they must ask the info. over and over. Poor girls! It is just the Poppy way. The food is worth the time and arrives in a luciuous and generous helping.Trust the most important thing, the delicious variety of food and of course the yummy Italian delights.
Their pizza is great! They make a hearty veggie pizza and veggie sub too. They don't skimp on the vegetables and it's delicious. But the tuna platter is what I travel miles out of my way for. I haven't found another salad that good yet, and I've been looking. Keep it up, Poppy's.
The people taking orders over the phone are rude. The food is good. I took a break from them for months because of the bad customer service. Now I’m back again but same rude people over the phone.
This pizza is delicious. And the slice sizes always make me giggle. Their lunch portions are amazing and more than worth it. Definitely my go to when I have a pizza craving while at work!
Ordered from Poppy’s twice . First was a bunch of various dinners/entrees. Generous portions and excellent taste. The next time was just pizza. Even though the crust was a bit thick, the taste was on point. I’ll request the pizza to be thin crust next time, and there will definitely be a next time. Thank you for a delicious meal in both occasions.
