We found this place to be delightful. From the buttery trout to the roasted duck, it was fantastic. Sashimi was think-cut and smooth. Fried sushi was large but yummy. Shrimp available many ways, all of them good. Salad was great with mandarin oranges. Dessert had all the usual favorites, but this one included flan and coconut jelly, pleasantly light. Hot tea was strong but delicious and really hot.All in all, our new favorite place when up in this area.
First time here. Will be the last. Food was old, cold and disgusting. There were baby roaches in the deserts. Watermelon tastes like fish was cut with it first. The hibachi was full of old produce. The chicken was very old and different colors. To many dirty dishes. A waste of $40 for three people. Left hungry and a bad taste in my mouth. STAY AWAY????
We eat here once or twice a month. While the interior is in need of updating, the food is plentiful and has a great variety of items. It's a bargain to eat here just for the fresh stir fry and the sashimi. Definitely much better than the other buffet on University. Great place to stop in if you have company and don't want to cook dinner as everyone can have items of their choosing.
Food is hot and fresh. Buffet bar very clean. Requires you to have mask and gloves to serve yourself. Big plus.
The remodel refreshed the place, but the food is nothing to rave about. Mostly greasy and lack flavor. The sushi was not fresh and had no real desernable flavor. This place would be much better if they refreshed their food as good as the remodel they did on the decorations. BTW, the booths and tables are stained, small, and not included in the remodel; they should have been! I hope they step up their game because there are much better asian buffets in the area.
The food is like 73% ✓But the camaraderie and vibe by one of the Oriental girls was over the Moon... She has such a bubbling, hospitable and engaging persona I'd go there with 5 friends and pay double for our Brunch every Friday.
NOT a place that I would recommend. The food is just OK, nothing more. I was impressed by the fact that you had to wear a mask and gloves in the buffet area but was way less impressed with the appearance of most of the food, and the taste was less than average. I watched the buffet, and when the lady came to fill the serving pans, she would place the new food in the buffet table and spoon the old pan contents onto the newly cooked food. This is a dangerous practice for all foods have holding times and temperature requirements to prevent food bourne illnesses. Several of my choices from the buffet were not at the required serving temperature.
I’ve been her multiple times. It’s usually a spot to hit on Sundays. I definitely recommend going during the weekend. The service and quality is a bit better, but even during the week it is still good. I love the hibachi and hot food. It is my top three Chinese buffets to go to in terms of budget and taste. The only reason I took a star off is that you should really pay attention to your bills because I’m not sure if all their servers know how to do their math properly.
Good food and good price, wait staff and the care for individuals is completely lacking. Took several big groups before even asking me for a table, this is a constant thing for them and has happened several times for me. Wait staff visited the big group table that was besides me six times during my dining experience but was only seen once to ask if I needed the check.
Had the pleasure of eating at Kings Super Buffet on New Years Eve. We were very impressed with the large variety of food on the buffet. Everything was fresh and replenished often. So many choices and surprising offerings from sashimi to made to order stir fry to a lovely pork roast. There is something for everyone on this buffet and great value for the money. The only minor negative is that the interior of the restaurant could use a lift as it's tired looking but beyond that, this place was GREAT and we will definitely return soon!
