Problem with the order takers in drive thru. They apparently don't pay attention at time of order. I've had this problem twice at you 441 and 26th street in Oakland Park area. Otherwise, food good.
Small fish portion size, even the 2 pieces of ocean perch/ whiting were both over fried & too salty. The perch, we couldn't enjoy thoroughly because the tail was fried hardest & it tasted saturated with oil... each time I've tried Hooks, I've been disappointed!

The workers have smiling faces, the fish was fresh, the fries were fresh and not soggy. Everything had the right amount of seasoning.
They will not make your order if you call it in. 40 min wait for wings is not worth it. They changed fries to cut cost and they are horrible now.I feel like this place is done once the original mom and pop who run this business dies
Their fries need to be made to order just like their chicken.Sucks I always receive lukewarm old fries with fresh and hot chicken.The Broward locations are lacking in quality compared to the location in Miami Gardens.Customers shouldn’t have to ask to make sure food is fresh when ordering.
Their food is fresh. Tasty wings. Not expensive. Great service. Must try desserts !!!
Cooks is the best fried fish and chicken and jumbo shrimp . Is my whole family loves the cheesecake coleslaw everything??
Giving 2 stars due to the lack of Customer service! The lady at the drive through is always unpleasant and rude, If your not people friendly then your in the wrong business period! This isn’t the first time it’s all the time but besides the poor customer service the food is always fresh and made to order.NOTE: Without great customer service your business is nothing!
Food is good, but a little expensive and charges additional for sauces. Plus line is always long and wait is not expeditious. I spent $80 and they were adamant about an addition $.54 for conch sauce. Overall the service will make me drive a little further for a more customer friendly option.
