I have been going here for years. I get great service from everyone there. Jared and Abby are awesome. I place my order on line and it’s waiting for me by the time I get there. I use the same smoothie everyday and lost 30lbs and kept it off . I use it as a meal replacement. The owner has done a great job of retaining friendly happy employees.
I came in early afternoon on 4/29 and got a Baja Chicken bowl to go. I then ran one errand and proceeded to go home to eat my lunch. I get there and it was missing the sauce that comes with it. As if it wasn’t annoying enough that I had to get back in my car and drive all the way back up there, but then when I get there and went in with my bag of food, the kid working the register proceeds to give me the 3rd degree as if I was lying and was trying to scam a sauce from them. He even went as far as to request my receipt which I had thrown in there dumpster after scanning it for points. The place was packed and I was thoroughly humiliated over a 25 cent sauce. Clearly I had purchased something from there, I had a bag of food. But to interrogate me over it is ridiculous and completely uncalled for. I stated that I wasn’t trying to scam them for a sauce and that’s when he stated it wasn’t him It was his manager. Maybe someone could explain to him and the manager the difference between monitoring and managing losses vs losing customers over pennies. I love Tropical Smoothie’s food, but after being humiliated over a sauce that they clearly forgot and being inconvenienced to waste half my lunch returning to get it only to be belittled and humiliated by the teenage staff are the reasons I don’t think I will be returning, definitely not to this store and quite possibly the franchise altogether!
Excellent food and smoothies. Service is quick and efficient. The cashier, Zoe, is always very friendly and helpful at recommending new smoothies and wraps to try.
I go to a lot of tropical smoothies but this one was by far the best service that I have went to thank you so much
So I really love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I haven't eaten their food or had a smoothie in awhile, so we ordered from this location today. I totally understand that Covid has put a damper on staff, food and small businesses, but to be very honest, I was disappointed. The two wraps we ordered lacked flavor. I expect to bite into a Buffalo Chicken wrap and taste the flavors and spices. There was no spice, it tasted watered down and it lacked any type of flavor. We also ordered another chicken wrap and it was the same way. The smoothie' were just okay--not like I remember them. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I cannot give this place anything more than two stars. I am sorry, Tropical Smoothie. I feel like I'm betraying you, but people need to know that the quality has declined. I hope to return and have a better experience!!
I order lunch from here 1-2 times a week. The smoothies are made perfectly and still tasty (even though I order them with no extra sugar). This is my favorite location, and I’ve been to all the locations in Pinellas County.
I have bad hearing due to an injury. when I came in and ordered something, the cashier caught an attitude quickly when I had trouble understanding what she was saying. I also noticed that she was very rude to the person behind me when he didn't spell his name out right away. I don't understand how someone can take orders and catch an attitude so easily, especially over trivial things.
Very good food, awesome smoothies, great friendly staff. Healthier options for breakfast and lunch with lots of bold natural flavors. This is my favorite location. Fast service!!
Will not return to this location, the last 3 times I've come here there is always some problem.
Really disappointed in my Flatbread ? I ordered a chicken, bacon ranch Flatbread. Not much chicken and no bacon at all
