Was in town for a medical procedure, stayed at the holiday inn express right down the road. When we checked in we received a free drink and an excellent recommendation for Roosterfish. We were not disappointed!! Had the crab cakes for an appetizer. Very tasty and reasonably priced, not huge chunks of crab meat in them, but still delicious. Coconut shrimp…very good! Grits as a side dish??!! Loved them! My husband had the salmon and said it was delicious and tasted fresh caught. Key lime pie also very good! Really no complaints. Definitely try it if you haven’t!
What a lovely experience. I'd like to commend Mike our server. Definitely one of the best servers bar none. You also get a frequent diner club buy 8 get one 1. Make sure to ask for it.4 dollar margaritas and endless fish and chips. The clam chowder was tasty and the liver and onions was delightful.Great experience that did not disappoint.Highly recommended.
The food was delicious and everything on the plate was hot, like it came straight from the pan. This place is a gem.
Was introduced to the restaurant by friends, and what I find,great service,great choice of fish,meats salads,away from the beaches so slightly cheaper though no drop in quality,casual atmosphere,be adventurous and try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
We went in last Friday for catfish and shrimp and it was awesome, fresh and hot with a happy server. Taylor that had perfect timing, and very good suggesting. She was polite and listen to your orders and was impeccable people person. She took very good care of her customers as she makes you feel right at home. We met the manger Tina, and she was a breath of fresh air. A walking angel in her on right. The only negative of the dinner was the young host with no smile, no kindness, no welcome home feeling. The host needs to smile and be upbeat. Ty. Taylor and Tina for your kindness, a wonderful dinner experience that will bring us back soon. I highly recommend that you go to early bird special, you shall be glad that you did. Very good food. Safe handicap parking. clean inside and out. Many locals. Rockster.
Being from Nebraska, we had to find a place that served great seafood! This place did not disappoint. The grouper was amazing! Payton was such an amazing server and we really enjoyed our time there! If you are looking for some great good with great service, this is the place!
I went there with my mother and my sister on a Friday night while on our vacation to Indian Rocks Beach. We knew the beach spots would be crowded and have really long waits, so we decided to try a place in Largo... and thanks to TripAdvisor, we found this place. The atmosphere is a fun fish-themed restaurant and the staff is really helpful (don't let the fact that the staff is on the younger side fool you - they know what they're doing). The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered peel and eat shrimp and calamari to start, then I had the Grouper Oscar which was delicious (see photos). Our server Mason was attentive and checked in on us just enough. They were out of some of the drink specials, but they suggested alternatives that were good choices.
We waited til Wednesday when they have a lobster special. $40 per lobster, stuffed or steamed. We had 3 in our group and all felt the same..disappointment. Baked too long or sitting under a warmer ..claw meat was either hard or rubbery. Other person had catfish which was good. 3 drinks. Total $185.00 for 4, tip extra. Diner type atmosphere, very casual. Place was full so obviously many others satisfied. We tried it, now we move on…
Food was not worth the price very overrated. This restaurant is lackluster and has overall no appeal. the owner had a rude way about him, and the bartender Kristy had zero customer service skills. Along with the bland decor and stale environment, this is definitely a place I will never be revisiting.
Excellent lunch experience. Large lunch specials menu with excellent food presented very nicely. For example, lobster stuffed halibut with hollandaise sauce and choice of 2 sides. If you like fresh seafood excellently prepared in a very relaxed environment this is your place.
