amazing food and amazing staff!
Totally delicious!! 10/10 recommend! Fresh food and great workers. The grilled chicken was flavorful and moist. The Mac & Cheese was fantastic! My family had fried chicken, and they said it tasted great as well! Also, each meal comes with a side of dipping sauce of your choice which is great!!In my opinion, this restaurant is equal, if not better, than the Raising Canes franchise. It is a must try restaurant for sure!!
Had the fire in the hole 3 piece tenders two separate times. First time it was loaded with the dry rub and I was on fire. Second time, it was lighter on the dry rub seasoning and easier to handle. The heat is a late hitting heat so be aware. The chicken was tender and slightly dry but still good and delicious (it's white meat and expected). I will be back to try their other offerings and would recommend a try.
I was here about Noon today and ordered the Chicken and Waffles. When the gal brought them out(I feel bad for not remembering her name!), she apologized a bunch for being out of syrup and offered to bring some honey and another sauce. She then said she'd run next door to Publix and get some syrup! Absolutely way above the norm for customer service, these days. Most places barely give an apology and excuses are more common. Obviously, I would have survived this mild inconvenience, but the extra effort and smiles were much appreciated.
This review is after dining only once during the 1st week of business. Chicken and service better than expected. Prices on the high side. Note half bird $12 with 2 sides, yet they sell a whole chicken with sides for $44.99, I do not understand the pricing of some selections. (Look at photos of menu) Not a very long wait with a fairly busy restaurant less then 10 minutes for our food cooked to order. Chicken was better than expected in flavor and tenderness! Very flavorful and different spice then I have had previously. The side selection is excellent especially the mashed potatoes with the spicy gravy and collard greens. Collard greens were not hot but tasty and mashed potatoes with spicy gravy was very good. They do not carry the normal Pepsi cola or Coca-Cola soda selections it is a specialty brand made with pure cane sugar that is actually very good. If the service or quality of food changes I will update this review but as of now I highly recommend Joella's HOT Chicken! This is the 1st location in Florida.

550pm on a Tuesday night- no customers. But I thought I would give it a try. Clean parking lot and inside the restaurant was very clean, southern throughout. Menu is limited. The prices are high. . 2 wings with a side and sauce $12 or 3 strips with side and sauce $13 . You do get to select the flavor for the chicken. They do have more options however that was what I was looking for. The sides are regular size you would get anywhere. I took mine to go, first strip was very good and full of flavor meat was flavorful and juicy, the 2 other strips we’re cold and on the dry side so would expect that they had been sitting. Over all nice place5 good quality 4 price 3. Will i be back maybe if I have extra money $33 bucks for two meals in drive thru is just too much for this teacher.
This place is so tasty. Everything we had was good. Cadeen who served us was so welcoming and wonderful. He was very engaging and knowledgeable. It was my first time and I was very pleased with everything I tried. They even have a vegan chicken sandwich my husband recommends to try for you vegans out there. The gourmet sodas was also a refreshing choice from your typical restaurant soda products. Even my picky kids enjoyed it. Highly recommend to try. We will be back.
Finally went tonight for dinner after driving by the place for months. Checked out their menu online and decided to give it a go. Got the tenders with the tweeney sauce and decided to treat myself and get an extra tender with the 'Fire in Da Hole' sauce. Signed my waiver and sat down to eat. Staff was super nice and even came out to let me know they had milk if I needed lol. Luckily, I torture myself frequently with hot sauce (thanks hot ones - if you haven't seen it go check it out on YouTube). Anyway I dug in and the chicken was on point. Finally enjoyed what I felt was enough before grabbing the hot tender. Man it was good but definitely made me sweat! I will definitely be back to try the sandwiches next. Thanks for breaking up the fast food monotony of the area with something delicious and unique!
Went to this place two days in a row. The food is awesome. Top quality. I see people complaining about the price…..who cares? The price is fine. If you want cheap garbage, there are plenty of options. This is good food, the staff are awesome (which is most impressive thing in this day and age). Theres a young guy working the window who is smart. Dominik. He tells me he wants to make customers feel like family. Impressive dude. When I go to other fast food joints, I sweat bullets in fear of what I am going to find in the bag. Not here.
