We are serious breakfast lovers and have tried dozens of places. Golden Bear is a wonderful find we somehow have missed. I had a delicious pork chop and eggs which were cooked to perfection and hash browns like I really love them crispy outside and tend and moist inside. But the best thing for me is the HOMEMADE sausage gravy. I rarely order it because a majority of places use canned as well as canned corned beef hash. And very salty. Not Golden Bear. Their sausage gravy Is absolutely delicious. Even just by itself.Plus the have lots of lunch options I can’t wait to try.Eggs Benedict is my husband’s go to and he said it was the best he’s ever had. He rarely makes comments like that.Last but not least the servers and other team members are just awesome including the cooks!!!!!!Highly recommend this yummy gem.Go… try… you’ll love it!!!!
This is a great family owned restaurant to go to for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and have great service, we never have to wait to be sat. My husband always orders the house skillet, and I’m partial to their biscuits gravy with eggs / hash browns. Our son loves their kids breakfasts. They honor our veterans, are very American, and we couldn’t be happier whenever we go for breakfast or brunch.They have a cozy atmosphere, always the same servers, which is great. They probably recognize us with how often we go (at least once a month)It’s usually $10 per person which is affordable aswell.
Always great portions and so yummy. We can never finish it all. Will chose this place over a dennys any day.

This is my second time of coming to this restaurant. Is cozy place that has a homestyle atmosphere to it. I was greeted by the hostess quickly and was taken to my seat. The waitress was promptly at my table offering me a beverage and to take my order. The place was very busy but the food came out so quickly I was surprised on how fast the service was. The food was extremely hot and it was very tasty. This is a place that you definitely wanted to check out. They do serve breakfast for lunch and that's what I had today. Great job...

What's my first time going there. I was at a job just around the corner so I decided to try the place out. My waitress was very attentive they had a large menu in the food was great. I will definitely be going back there this week
We tried to go to another restaurant and have this same meal and it was nothing compared to this. I am stingy with my 5 stars and this place from waitress to cooks deserve 5 stars. This meal was sooooo good we had to tip the cook too it just felt right. We highly recommend you eat anything here. Especially on a Tuesday.
FIrST of ALL : Best pancake I have ever eaten The Veggie omelette was sensational and the vegetables were so fresh and crunchy. The service was top tier and they give you that warm and cozy comfort food feeling. 5 Stars!
Was seated after 5mins. Waitress brought drinks and we never saw her again. Sat for about 20-25min and just left a 10$ bill on the table and left. Probably won't be back. Table behind us was served a few times but no one even looked in our direction. Don't know if it had anything to do with me being the only black person there.
