First time ever coming here. It eas a little unique getting a Philly w/ lettuce on it. Not used to that as my wife ordered for me. Other than that not bad have had better.
Took some.friends here. While I can't personally speak to the taste, they enjoyed the little there was for the money. Out of 3.5 orders, not one was correct on a nearly empty afternoon at 5 pm. The issue ordering has happened two other times. Both times The same person taking the orders had difficulty understanding and speaking English. That is NOT any indication of my feelings about immigrants, as all four of.my grandparents came as immigrants. Just the facts.
The customer service is very lacking. I was the only customer in the entire restaurant and when I told them that the carbonation with my drink was out and that it was flat, the gentleman said I just changed it yesterday. Well okay but I can't drink it so we gave me another cup of coke. Only when I was leaving and I handed him a full cup to pour down the drain so I didn't throw it in their trash can, he said "I could give you something else."I ate my entire meal without anything to drink, I didn't argue, I didn't ask for anything else. But I can tell you why, something as simple as a Coke has made up my mind that I will never return.
Always fantastic service. I am so happy they opened up close to my home. They always make my BBQ Philly so tasty! ? Tony is a fantastic manager ? and all staff always friendly and fast service too. ? I love the watermelon ? strawberry ? lemonade ? drink absolutely delicious and refreshing! Thank you all for the yummy food and great service. ? A++++. I went today to get my BBQ Philly ? yum yum. See you all soon. Have a blessed day and please ? always stay in business ? I'd starve without you! Lol.
First time at a Charley's. I had the boneless wings with Teriyaki sauce and it was really good. The boneless wings were s good size and the sauce was tasty. I would have liked the fries more well done though. The place was clean, the staff friendly and overall it was a good experience.
The Cheesesteak was very good. The bread was great. Just the right amount of toppings. Definitely an appropriate amount of steak given. The fries were ok, you have to eat them first because they get cold quickly. I only ate half because of this situation. The only dislike I have about the business is the cement floor, bare walls and steel ceiling. Very loud with just a normal conversation voice. Noise just echoed everywhere. Wirth getting a sandwich here.
Not sure if they were busy before we got there but my boyfriend and I were the only ones in line when we ordered. Ordering went fine but we got home and found that they didn’t cut or close either sandwich. Everything stuck to the top of the box and had to be scraped off onto the sandwiches. Also order two things of regular, plain fries and found only one box of their gourmet fries in the bag. It’s the only Charley’s within 15 minutes of us so to even drive back would be a hassle. Check you food before you leave the parking lot.
There were only 3 women working tonight and every one of them were working their butts off. They had wonderful customer service. We were greeted and after having to wait (they were extremely busy) was offered a free drink. It is so rare to find anyone who wants to work these days much less as pleasant as these women were. They kept a smile on their face the entire time. Very kind. I highly recommend visiting.
This was my first time there, I found it kind of a mixed bag. The core of their menu is a cheese-steak, and I have to give them credit there. The sandwich tasted good, and was prepared to order, and served hot, which is unusual under 'fast-food' circumstances. Pretty much everything else sucked, though. The pop machine was broken. The counter guy got me some pop from somewhere, but no straws! My impression was that the restaurant could have used a thorough cleaning. And, very few customers, which doesn't bode well for the future. Overall, I'd try them again, but drive-through, not eat-in.
