If you are looking for a hole in the wall this is the place. Smoking is allowed so dont bring your kids. The staff here is amazing and the food is good but dont expect to find a date here unless you are over 55. Tucked right behind is a HUGE 55+ trailer park. Never the less the staff here is wonderful and they have daily events such as trivia and karaoke, their prices are good and the atmosphere is great just not for kids.
Stopped by for a domestic bottle beer Mich Ultra. Beer is $5.35! Asked for a menu and was told no, bc there won’t be any food available until 6. Then while drinking one beer she handed me a check and said she was closing us out because her shift ends at 6…rude and ugly as hell….asked her to come over and she only nodded… Think she was drunk or high on pills Either way…will never come back

Saturday night karaoke is really good. Kitchen hours are wishy washy, wish they'd hire a cook.
Erika was fabulous. Great atmosphere and crowd. Enjoyed playing pool and how comfortable I felt. Will definitely come back.
This place is awsome they have great food and all the staff there are just the bees nees. They also have pool tables, darts, and a handful of video games. I go there and watch all.my sporting events they have so many tvs and if you talk to the staff they will turn it to your sporting channel you want to watch. Also during the week they have games like trivia and also a poker tournament where you can win food and things of that nature (no money tho :( but food is the next best thing. So if your ever in the mood for chilling in a great place and good food then stop in and if you stay late enough you will get to mingle with the owners very down to earth, awsome people that love there customers. Have fun I know I do, till next time.
I've been a resident of Largo more than 40 yrs. I was shocked when entering AJ's. The food was bar food, place was pretty empty, not used to walking into a place that's been a happening for years only to see just how bad things are. I will not return. I feel so bad for the owners and employees, through no fault of their own, have to deal with a once booming and fun establishment go completely down hill! It's really sad.
2 Stars as opposed to one because of the karaoke. Definitely needs some cleaning and updating. The whole bar smells of cigarettes and smoke. The one drink I ordered was way too strong and tasted like the vodka was well not premium as I ordered. Not sure about calling it a "sports" bar half the TVs where off the ones that where on had boxing as opposed to hockey or any live games there where on. The rest of the bar was a mix of outdated bar furniture that didn't quite match. Not sure why you would have carpet in a bar in a state that is known for high humidity and mold, and the carpet was dirty and stained even in the dim lighting. Someone needs to call John Taffer, this bar needs to be rescued!
Nice gathering place older in the early hours of the day. Gets younger later but a good young crowd nothing rowdy older and young have good conversations and vibes bartenders are a great balance nice ladies. Definitely worth a check in
Very clean and nice. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
