***Update***changing to 4 stars cause I finally went again and I was able to get 3 fresh alcapurrias and were delicious. Hopefully, things are different.********I’ve been here a total of 4 times within one year becaue I don’t live close.1st time the alcapurrias were delicious, 2nd time delicious, 3rd time I was told they were out of them, today (Saturday) I went again at around 2 pm after driving 25 minutes and I was told they were out of them and that I should have been there sooner. My father in law went a few months ago and he ordered two alcapurrias with another item and was waiting while they cooked an item and a lady behind him ordered two alcapurrias as well after him and they sold his alcapurrias to the lady behind him and they told my father in law that they only had those two left and had just ran out. When he told the owner that he ordered his alcapurrias 1st, their attitude was like too bad we are out. It’s so typical of a Puerto Rican kiosko, to have their customer service be inconsistent or lacking. The alcapurrias are good from here when they have them but the service needs improvement.Oh, and there are no prices on the white board which is also not professional to run a business without prices!It’s a Saturday, please be ready to forecast enough to have a busy day. Calculate an average of how many of each items you will sell so you don’t sell out by lunch. I would not have minded to wait if they needed time to prep but they said they did not have meat to make alcapurrias! Hopefully, the service improves!!
They make the best Mofongo in Florida, just call in your order or you will be waiting a long time before they get to you!! The girl has a great attitude and good customer service skills the owner ( guy) is a bit condescending!

Saw it on my way to Plant City and made a mental note to to stop there on on my way back home.. I have eaten from some of these food trucks in the past and although the food is good they skimp on the quantity and they're high in the price. But not this one. OMG I must say that this is the best Mofongo that I have ever eaten in my entire life! I ordered it with fried pork and the quantity was huge, it was enough for 2 meals and for only $12. You must order in advance because they are so busy. They do other other puerto rican cuisine and they change up the menu. I can't wait to go back.. Very highly recommended!
