I used to come to Wooden Spoon often for breakfast because of the quick service and good food. Last two times I went they weren't busy, but we never got service and had to leave.

We drove about 45 minutes to try this restaurant. We are trying to find a great pork tenderloin. The Wooden Spoon is an older style diner. The service was friendly and the prices were low. Unfortunately we thought the pork tenderloin was just okay and we are still looking for a pork tenderloin like the one we enjoyed growing up.
Had the Friday special ALYCE FISH with fries and coleslaw. It was fantastic Hot pieces were large and flaky. We've had breakfast and lunch there, but never dinner. It was a Great experience we will be back
I go out for breakfast often. I have been going there several times a month so I must like it more than other breakfast places nearby and they have a more responsible friendly staff.A series of factors ding it and I may alter course. Examples: No regular cream with coffee unless asked for, having to ask for a refill on coffee when low almost all the time, ham slices so thin with eggs that it isn't worth the extra cost...
I am sad. For several years I have been bringing guests (family and friends), to this Mulberry Wooden Spoon. I boasted that the service and food was awesome. Today I brought an out of state friend who had been there before with me for lunch. The service was still wonderful, but the food was NOT. They must have had a turnover in chef/baker/products. I will not be returning, unfortunately, and will be looking for another diner.
Great atmosphere. Appearance was clean, neat and well organized..Open spacing and not too closely packed to other guests. Appreciated the wood blinds and decor that subtly boosts advertising for local businesses. Food and Portion sizes were both good. I feel you really get your money's worth here. Server was nice and training another, politely introduced her trainee. Also swapped coleslaw for potato salad and let my husband customize his wrap with no trouble at all. Potato salad was amazing, best I've had! Will be back!
Great place for breakfast and lunch. Serves breakfast all day, which is nice. I like the omelettes and the country fried steak and eggs (it's really good). Lunch specials are excellent and they always have some good vegetable choices for sides along with soup. Staff is really friendly and helpful!! Overall a great place.
Absolutely great place this time maybe I got lucky I got my coffee in under 2 minutes The Omelette was cooked to perfection not runny or burnt. The potatoes were very well cooked to my liking and they actually didn't burn the toast. And the staff is absolutely fantastic right there when you need them. Been to some of the other local places and they act like they are doing you a favor to serve you, And the best part very reasonably priced.
