Not our best visit to Smokey Bones this time. My salad with crispy chicken was edible after I picked through the damaged pieces of greens. The greens were soggy and many looked well past their prime. The cranberries, strawberries and pecans were less than sparse. When I asked our waitress, Dakota, to tell the chef the salad greens were iffy, she simply said, “can I get you something else?” I said no thank you. It was too late to reorder something else. My husband was already eating. I thought the manager would come over. He did not. Next time we saw Dakota I asked if she alerted the chef or manager about the salad. She said yes and it was because the truck had just come that day and all their food comes frozen. Imagine my surprise! Salad greens come to the restaurant FROZEN! Did she make that up!? Dunno! My husband ate all of his ribs, chicken, fries, and baked beans. Left his Texas toast. He was a happy man! His meal is the same every time we go. His meal is constantly good. Mine; not so much. :(

Don't waste your money. Went thru Uber Eats, didn't get anything I ordered. Called and got no satisfaction from Danny (Service Mgr) at all. Said I would have to go back thru Uber Eats. Should have went to McDonald's.

Pickles was the greatest waitress ever. She provided me with a gluten-free menu and an awesome cocktail. Her counterpart Carson was an awesome waiter as well. Ask for pickles or Carson when you visit here and definitely have a Gluten Sensitive menu. Love this place.

Soup man here...a pleasant surprise with a New menu item. They have a Loaded Brisket Chili being added. This is not really a chili, think a spicy Brisket Soup that is excitingly meaty and filling. Not often I get to a regular place and get surprised like this. Had the cornbread with pecan butter Andy Wife had the Baked Potato Stack up as usual.

We go through quite a while between visits to Smoky Bones and tonight was our first visit in a year or two and we were disappointed as we often are. Coming from Texas, when I think of Barbeque, I think if brisket and sausage. So, tonight I was of course prepared to order brisket when our server told us that they were out of brisket and it was before 8 pm. What kind of Barbeque restaurant is out of brisket this far from closing? I wish I could say that this was the first time we were disappointed by hearing this at Smoky Bones. In addition, they are out of mashed potatoes(yet still have baked potatoes....isn’t that what mashed potatoes are made from? A potato). They were also out of about 3-4 other items. We ordered 8 boneless wings ($6.99), Smokehouse Mac n cheese with sausage ($12.49), and a sliced Turkey platter with fire roasted corn and broccoli ($15.39). I didn’t realize that the Mac n cheese would have a significant amount of bbq sauce on top of it. I thought that was why we had several bottles on the table, to add it as we wanted. It had a small amount of thick cut sausage that we had to cut up and fried onions on top ( yet one of the items they were out of was onion rings!). The sausage was very dense like a summer sausage. The bbq sauce was overpowering and too sweet. The boneless wings ordered were garlic Parmesan and they were ok. The best thing we ordered was the Turkey platter. The Turkey was super flavorful and the fire roasted corn was tasty and just the right firmness expected of fresh corn. Our server was Natalie and she was super friendly and nice. She was as attentive as we needed and was quick with drink refills. I understand that the restaurant had a busy day especially as we waited about 45 minutes to be seated. On a Saturday night this was expected. What doesn’t make any kind of sense is why they were out of so many items, most especially brisket. I don’t know when we will go back. Maybe not until we have forgotten why we were disappointed.

Service was quick and food was very good. Decent price. Would eat here again. Got the pulled pork which I enjoyed.

Great BBQ place plus they have a few other things. The Pretzels and cheese dip were so good. Pricing is the same as if you went to Sonnys' or somewhere else. Nice place and the waitress was good. WIll go again

Three of us had lunch, my ticket for chicken dinner was $22.00 with a drink then add the tip. The others complained too. Now if the chicken had been delicious I wouldn't complain but we had chopped chicken which wasn't too bad and a 1/4 chicken, which was the smallest piece of chicken I have ever had. It was dry also. Will not go back unless we have a coupon. Very disappointed. Service was good.

We ordered two baby back dinners to go. One was exactly like what we always get. The othjer was not. I called to let them know and the manager was very abrupt. He said, "You got baby back because that is all we are cooking."We have these often enough to know when it is different and I thought they should know when a customer is dissatisfied.

HOW do I start?! First off, despite being bombarded virtually every other day with "Daily/Weekly Specials" via email that are non-existent at THIS TIME i.e...Bone-Fire, Rib Fest dinner etc... We made the best of it with the now, Traditional "paper" Limited, menus. To make the best of a generally, Ho-Hum visit, I told my wife to "Get whatever she wanted on the menu" to wit she ordered their pulled pork sandwich w/1 side for $10.99." (I have to stop here to comment on her order.) When her Sandwich combo came out I was flabberghasted not only as to HOW REALLY SMALL THE SANDWICH WAS, but HOW LITTLE MEAT WAS ON THE SANDWICH. Comparing "Apples to Apples" with Mission BBQ, which is 6 miles closer, the Meat on her sandwich was about 2/3 of the meat on her last Mission Pulled Pork sandwich combo she had just over a week ago Their Cost $6.99...Her Natural Fries were good, but then Incredibly (_l_) ! again, the portion of fries for her was O.K, but if it were my Order, I'd have to have a "Mission portion." ( Fries are a very cheap commodity to fill up a plate.) Catching my "drift" Smokin'? Now, for me I had their Chicken fingers and fries for $10.99, which I thought were "As good" if not, "Better" than my favorite, which has been for years Chili's Chicken fingers. Yummmm! The $10.99 price and portions were comparable. My chicken fingers were not only Good, they were absolutely phenomenal! My wife's mouth dropped to the table, when she heard me Order "Fried Chicken Fingers," when we were essentially in a BBQ joint. My bad, but it was Hmmm, Hmmm Good! Again, the Portion of Natural fries was a little weak, but considering I wasn't starvin' adequate. Here's the proverbial Punch Line, Folks. Our Server, Kat (short for Kathia) was the Delight to not only our weeknight dinner experience, but she seemed to be watching us with "eyes in the back of her head" as Every Time, my beverage got low, a New, Fresh beverage would reappear! This happened no less than 3x during our dinner ( Pint Mason jars used for beverages don't go very far for quenching one's thirst in the first place. ) Without question, the Highlight of our evening was the Superb attention we received from "Kat." Thanx, Kat, we'll be back!
