I'm currently pregnant and can not have Salmon or Tuna. I asked if I can order a First love roll without the Salmon and Tuna but add Cooked shrimp. The roll alone cost $14.95 but they wanted to upcharge it due to changing it to Shrimp. I could understand if it's adding it or if it cost more for the seafood. The waitress was super nice and was trying to get the sushi chef to understand but she wouldn't do it.
Went there for lunch. I had Wonton Soup and Massaman Curry. The Wonton was ok, but a little bland. The Massaman Curry was some of the best I have ever had. The beef almost melted in your mouth and the spicing was perfect. I enjoy it immensely and told the waitress so. Service is a bit slow and disorganized, but the food is great.
I have always loved Thai Oishi. I started eating there when they first opened. I have a lot of food allergies and they were always able to accommodate me. To be honest, the food has always been amazing, so when I started noticing changes in their service I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The last 3 times I ate in person the waiters seemed more intent on talking to each other than coming to the tables. On one of these trips I did not receive a refill until I asked for a to go cup when I wanted to leave. All three of these visits were during lunch when they weren’t busy. Only 2 or 3 tables were in use.Recently I tried to place a to go order over the phone. I don’t like to order food online because I can’t make the exact modifications I need to meet my dietary requirements. I was told that they are no longer taking any phone orders at all and I can only order to go online. I wasn’t willing to risk getting sick from an online order that doesn’t 100% comply with my restrictions.I’m really disappointed with the turn the service has taken. I understand that a lot of places are short staffed and have even been willing to deal with the slow service that inevitably results in. However, I have a hard time accepting the poor customer service.
Our favorite Restaurant in Lakeland. Been going here more than a year, sometimes twice a month (from Orlando). If your in the area, this is the best eatery in the area. Large selection of menu choices, outstanding service, with prices for every budget.Text me if you find a better Thai restaurant.
Place has nice atmosphere, good food. 3 meals at good price. Service was good. It's small but offers a variety of thai and japanese dish that is familiar. I would visit again.
Ordered from this location twice and very disappointed both times. First time I ordered the Sushi Crunch role and the Imitation Krab was inedible and smelled. I decided to give them another shot 2 weeks ago and ordered $50 worth of food. After picking up my food, items were missing. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager (Joy) and they said she was not available but would call me back, I haven"t heard back and its been more than 2 weeks. They advised me to send an email, which I did and still haven't heard back hence the 1 star review. Will not be going back to this location
Very tasty. I've never had thai food before, so I can't comment on authenticity, but it was very flavorful and colorful
Delicious food, great customer service, great convenient location.
My husband and I live in Nevada. He is in Florida training for his private pilot license. He just passed and decided to treat himself to lunch. This is the restaurant he chose. Being such a special day and moment, I desperately wanted to surprise him and pay for his lunch with a $100 tip. I called and they wouldn’t let me. Way to ruin something special.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love everything about Thai Oishi! The food never disappoints and everyone there is so nice. If I could eat here every day I would!
