If your looking for a quiet and quaint spot to work remotely, relax or read, this is the place! Great coffee and treats. I’ll definitely be back!!
One of my favorite spots in Lakeland. Great coffee and muffins. Nice book selection. I’m in here several times a week. Would recommend. Too bad Google doesn’t have a 6 star option.
OMGGGG, I’m a reviewer that keeps it real.. with real language. I am absolutely in love with this shop and the service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediately informed the shop was currently waiting on their delivery of foods.I was wanting to order a bagel but Christina (I believe) informed me she wasn’t sure how long the wait would be. I told her I would just come back later that morning; in the meantime I ordered the best fuckkking Lavender Vanilla Latte! I’ve been on the hunt for shops that carry Lavender and finally found my spot ?On my way out Christina offered to take my number and call me when the bagels arrived, OKAY CHRISTINA, YOU ARE MY GIRL! Literally within 10 minutes she calls me and offers to warm up the bagels so they’d be ready when I got back. Me, being me I told her not to bother it’d be about an hour before I could make it back. And YESS, I went back, SO WORTH IT, bagel was amazing! Not to mention she brought it over to me while I waited. Impeccable service and again so damnnn good! Also, the ambiance is just cute af, I can’t even! ?Edit to add: Coffee was just under $5 and two bagels @ $10 ( I think) take that starbbies.
Had a terrific time at Book Club! Highly recommend! The conversations were engaging and time flew by. Will definitely be back again soon. The coffee and atmosphere were great as well! What a wonderful addition to Lakeland!
This is easily one of my favorite spots in Lakeland! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. There are plenty of spaces to sit and study or chat with friends. This is such a great addition to the downtown area, as well!
Not only do I recommend this place, I am jealous that it exists just out of reach. I want it in Orlando. In fact, I was so baffled by this cafe that I ended up giving it one of the highest ratings on my blog in a long time: https://hexahedron-greyhound-4phx.squarespace.com/blog-1/pressedbooksandcoffee Thank you for something so special! And, despite my jealousy, please keep existing. Colors my world ?
Visited the coffee shop today and was pleasantly surprised. Was in search of Christmas books for my granddaughters and lucky me I had first pick because a supply had just come in. Classics as well as other Christmas books I had not seen before gave me a nice selection to choose from. The cookies are fabulous and the ginger green tea was great. The store is very welcoming for all ages and very relaxing to just chill and enjoy a drink and browse thru some books. Make it a stop when you are downtown Lakeland!!
I absolutely loved the place, the friendly and accommodating staff, and the concept of the coffee and bookstore… recommend it 100%. We went at 7pm to gather a small group for bible reading, and although they changed their hours last week, she encouraged us to stay and was very apologetic because the hours had not been updated on the site. She was so friendly and patient, we loved her! Can’t wait to have a girls morning gathering there!
Excellent new coffee shop/bookstore in downtown Lakeland. Owner/operator was really cool and we enjoyed talking with him. Great relaxing atmosphere to sit and have one of their delicious coffee drinks.
Pressed is the cutest book store and coffee shop. I took my kids to pick up a book we had won from an Instagram giveaway. While we were there, we tried a couple drinks. The hibiscus lemonade and a vanilla frappe (with no coffee) for my little one. The staff was extremely friendly and I couldn't help but pause for a few minutes to read a book with my little ones before we left. We'll definitely be back.
