I stopped by after reading an article on the food. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is because I haven’t tried everything. Customer service was good. There was a steady flow of customers who all seemed to be regulars. I ordered a fish dinner, side of okra and Cole slaw. Everything was fresh hot and delicious. I will definitely be going back!!
Ordered the Mr Fish special basket for $11.99 that comes with coleslaw and french fries. Order came out with just the sandwich, no fries, no slaw. Brought it to attention of the person who gave me the order and was informed that we were only charged for sandwich $8.99 so paid difference for the other items. They quickly got our food out so we didn't have our sandwich go cold. Good recovery! Food was good, hot and fresh. Would definitely go back again! *****! 5 stars
They say good things come to those who wait? Not so much here... mom from Oklahoma coming to visit so looked for a place that had fish sandwich and fried okra cause that's what she likes... good thing we tried it first. I had the fish sandwich and fried okra, wife had fish and chips and coleslaw. Just edible at best that was after they got the order wrong the first time after an extremely long wait. Even if the food was good, that would not have been an acceptable wait. 2 stars because they probably tried. Won't be back...
Memories of Mr Fish from my childhood were fond ones. My great grandfather would bring me there and I would get a giant fish sandwich and two giant hush puppies. I brought my buddy (Dookie the dog) and ordered the same with fries added. Instead of one slab of fish as I remembered there were three small filets. The hush puppies were 4 that were the size of shooter marbles. The sandwich was tasty and the small hush puppies were also good. The fries were seasoned and hit the spot. It wasn't what I remembered but I still liked it. There is only three picnic tables outside seating two with umbrellas. I chose to sit at the nearby Lake Morton at a picnic table and me Dookie visited the ducks.
We had delicious fish dinners tonight at Mr Fish in Lakeland ! Thanks Michelle for excellent service too!

I stop by for lunch. This place will be my favorite place for fish.. There staff is very friendly. I got a fish sandwich, it was awesome. The batter on the fish is so good. I will have to say that there fish is the best in town. If you love onion rings , you have to try there's, they are very good.
Another great local place to eat.!!!!!!!!!I had the fish platter it came with onion rings, fries and hush puppies the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection.I also had the Mac and cheese, Collards and Potato salad all of which were very good.I definitely recommend.

I wish I could recommend Mister Fish, but I can’t. The fish itself is fine. Nothing special, but decent. The service is not good. If you don’t get the one nice person, you get a person who doesn’t know what customer service means. My biggest gripe is the lack of a reasonable per piece option without ordering a whole basket. We were charged $43 for 10 pieces of fish. Nothing else. That is ridiculous.
