Took a group of 5 Veterans and their family members (10 total) to Mission BBQ for the Armistice Day "free sandwich" for Korean War Veterans. We came by bus and were well received and taken care of by every member of the staff! A Special shout out to Lori Phillips for helping me make arrangements for our party! She is always attentive and I don't think I ever saw her NOT SMILING! What a wonderful place to visit! Good food, great service and a unique blend of dedicated team members whose only concern seem to be our comfort and happiness! Many Thanks to all! Everyone who attended is looking forward to our next Veterans Group Outing to Mission BBQ! Free dessert everyday for Veterans!
Great food, great service. Everyone is so friendly and nice, from the cashier to the young lady that stopped by to check on us. Restroom is immaculate, never seen a cleaner one at a bbq joint. The restaurant is very organized.My mother never been here, and she loved it! We are from North Carolina so we like a different style of BBQ. They have the vinegar and mustard, and my mom loved trying all the different sauces.
Great first experience!! Customer service was at its best. Ethan, was a great help, very positive, easy to speak with and guided us through the menu to make sure we going to have the best meal! Thanks for the hospitality Will definitely come here again! Even thought we live 2 hours away
I haven't been here for over a year. Today I went with a friend and we both were very pleased with our meals and the service was up and beyond. Plan to visit again soon.
I can’t get over how amazing this place is. First the food is great! Always fresh if you love barbecue this is a place to go. But what blows me away are the people there. Jelly , Zoe and so many other workers at this place really makes this place shine and so special! If you want to be treated like family and have a great food this is the place to be! I just want to thank everyone that works there and God bless!
We had some really good baby back ribs! Expensive ( not their fault LGB). Desserts were really good as well. Peach cobbler and homemade brownies. Nice to see all the salutes to veterans and law enforcement!
Met relatives at you Lakeland, FL store. First to to experience the powerful patriotism…the walls…the pledge!!! I’ve already told about it across the nation!!! Oh…and the food was GREAT!!!!
Went to Mission BBQ for lunch on 4-7, everything was Outstanding!!! I had the Brisket, Mac n Cheese, and Greens!! Everything was amazing! My favorite sauce was the West Virginia style!!! Veteran and First Responder friendly! The decor is great! Military, Police patches on the walls!! I will be coming here again and again!!
Stop in for lunch. Never heard of and been to Mission BBQ. The flavor of the pulled pork was perfect the multiple sauces to choose from very tasty. We were in and out within 45 mins. Would definitely recommend if you like BBQ.
This was our first time at Mission and we will be going back many times in the future. The food is great and service as good. The place honors our military, veterans and first responders (pictures and memorabilia throughout). The best thing that we experienced was at 12 noon was when a quite full restaurant and its staff was asked to stand up, salute our Nation's flag and join in "The Star Spangled Banner". I was told this happens daily. So impressed by the whole visit.
