We went early and had a great meal. Steaks were hot and well seasoned. Loved the crispy Brussel spouts. There seemed to be a lack of servers but the bartender stepped in and did an excellent job waiting on us. My only complaint about the restaurant was the C fold towel holders on the wall were empty in the women's restroom. Instead a roll of damp paper towels was set on the saturated counter. Pretty gross.
Fast, friendly service.Clean restaurant.Ordered the Grilled Shrimp Entree with the Strawberry Pecan Salad (upcharge to replace the side salad, but so worth it).The shrimp was seasoned and grilled to perfection! The salad was fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back...?
Decent steak house. Had a surf and turf. The lobster tasted a bit fishy but it was a Sunday so that’s expected luckily the sauce covered the taste . Steak was correctly cooks. Menu was sticky. Service was great. They did have a delicious salad!!
We had an incredibly schizophrenic dining experience.I expected a 20 minute wait for a 5-top and we were seated much quicker, which was nice. Everyone seemed attentive and cordial. Our sides came out before the appetizers, but when they finally came out they were excellent and we had high hopes for our expensive cuts of meat.In the meantime, we had to bus our own table for the main course because nobody had cleared it in a long while and other servers were stacking dishes on a table behind us from other tables around. We felt a little ignored in between receiving our apps and the arrival of our entrées.After devouring our apps and sides, we waited another 40 minutes (for a total of 1 hour and 16 minutes after ordering) and our food finally came out. The presentation was perfect, but the meat was awful. This might sound mean, but I've had better frankensteaks at a truckstop.First, all of our steaks were much too rare even though I like a medium rare steak. Second, the cuts were filled with gristle and cartilage so cutting them was nearly impossible. I've never seen a Porterhouse, which is part tenderloin and part NY Strip, be so tough and unmanageable. The taste was fine, but this was a terribly poor choice of cut. I'm no butcher so I don't know the "why" but all I know is that it was not worth $30+.The cooks are either new or inexperienced, and it shows with their inability to even cook a simple hamburger for our child. It was burnt beyond well done and any self-respecting cook would have thrown it in the trash. The waiter and manager were very apologetic, deducted the costs of the steaks and gave us a free dessert but I think people need to know that this location clearly has some issues that need addressed immediately.
We were meeting friends yesterday (a Sunday) for early dinner. Every restaurant in Lakeland had an hour wait. Longhorn had a 30-minute wait so we chose here since we had a very hungry toddler. Half the restaurant was empty but they did not have the staff to service all tables. They were doing it right by not filling those table. Once we were seated our server was very attentive (wish I remembered her name!). The food came out hot and delicious. The Old Fashioned was on point. When we were leaving, we complimented our server because she was great, and she told us it was her first week! So the next time you see many empty tables and don't feel you should have to wait to be seated, just know that the restaurant is probably doing it right. And do not take your frustrations on the staff that are actually there working. I would not want to be working in food service at this time.
The bar tender (we dined at the bar) was excellent, in fact the only good experience we had. His resources very limited though. I felt sorry for him for this impacts tips. The experience in general was bad. My soup, somewhat cold. The shrimp, overcooked. The salad was good. The fries tasted and felt recooke, as so did both of our bread loafs. The steak was like chewing gum.
The food is delicious and the service - the BEST. Julian was extremely fast, courteous and downright - GREAT.
Great place for surf & turf. Be aware there is usually a waiting list to be seated. Unless you don't mind eating in the bar. Then you'll be able to sit there & also have a drink or cocktail with your meal. Staff is super friendly. ?
Had lunch here with my children and husband yesterday. Kyle was our server. Honestly, the quality of the food and the service were the best we’ve had in a post Covid dinning experience. From the door to our seats and throughout the entire time, we experienced timeliness and great service all around.
The long island iced tea tasted more like lemonade. Other than that, the evening way great. Food was out quickly and was delicious! Our servers were great. Highly recommend this place.
