I base my reviews on Quality of the food, Service, and Price....I am giving Lings Buffet a 3 Star review for these reasons 1.) Quality of the food-Sushi bar was very good but the hot bar wasn't that good I would sat it was almost average. Some stuff was not hot some stuff like the vegetable fried rice was dry and didn't seem to be fresh. 2.)Service was good... 3.) Price- For the lunch price was a little pricey considering the Hibachi grill is closed. The Hibachi grill is only open during dinner. I compare all restaurants the same and I have to say I wasn't Impressed and I have had better.
The price is quite good and slightly higher on weekends. Some complain price is too high and then wonder why it doesn't have Dungeness crab. This is close to the old style Cantonese cuisine from the 1950s though some Hunan and other regions as well. Of course it's not spicy because it's not Schezwan cuisine brought to the US in the 1980s after Nixon opened China. Actually they often have snow crab, roast beef and salmon to cater to those who want more American food. But there is an amazing variety of what they do carry and plenty of Sushi too as well as a Hibachi grill in the back where you select how much of what you want them to make. Quality remains the same year to year, quite good in our opinion.
Amazing choices, great ambient. Clean and friendly service. You know it's clean when you visit the restroom. Food comes out often to keep replenishing the trays. Nothing stay cold except cold bar area. Sushi is fresh and amazing and so are all hot entrees. Stomach continues happy and strong with no visit to the toilet due to food poisoning. That's a great sign.Definitely recommend to visit with family and friends.
It was ok not fantastic or really good. The deserts were really lame, just the basics. They did have crab ? which there was very little meat in them. Dinner is $17.99 for that price I thought it would be better I tried it and I won't drive out of my.way.again for it. The server that got our drinks wasn't friendly at all she just acted like we were bothering her.

The price is very high for the quality of food. Not that it was bad, but definitely not $18 a person, unless I missed the all you can eat steak. I have had better selection of salad bar at a Chinese buffet for lesser price.

Alot better than I expected. The food was really tasty and they had a great selection. The staff was a little rude and short since we came just before dinner. And once they change out the food for dinner you aren't allowed to grt more if you arrived during lunch time. But the selection they were bringing out for dinner looked great. Will be back to try it out. Overall good price too
For the owner- Food poisoning is immediate for me, less than 30 minutes, I have highly sensitive stomach.Lunch buffet on Monday 2pm. Busy but no wait. Good selection, decent price, attentive staff. I only gave 3 stars because I ended up in the bathroom before we could leave the restaurant. For me, this USUALLY means lots of MSG or food poisoning. The food was fresh so I'm leaning more towards the MSG.
