Stopped by today for the first time, I’ve read some good reviews and decided to give it a try, and let me tell ya, it didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious. We both ordered a pulled pork sandwich and our sides were baked beans, Mac n cheese and Collard greens. The portions were huge and super fresh. Definitely the best BBQ in our area.
Beyond impressed with our catering experience!! We used Lakeland BBQ to cater our son’s graduation party, and all the food was amazing. Large portions and delicious. The big hit of the party was the “Buffalo Chicken” Dip. Highly recommend for your catering needs. I will never use anyone else.
I have used Lakeland Barbecue Company for several years, every time I’ve been asked to find a caterer for any event that I’ve been involved with. Last week, I booked them to cater my son’s high school graduation party. Everything was amazing. The standout item was definitely the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. I received several text messages the following day asking where the fettuccine had came from. I have always and will continue to recommend Joel and his team for all your catering needs. Large portions and great quality.
Could eat this food every day. Best people ever and the food is right there with them. It is a must eat !!
Ordered 2 couch potatoes and a 1/2 slab of ribs and it was spot on. Will definitely let people know that it is the place for good food.
Generally speaking, I haven’t had anything really bad here. Food is generally good. Sometimes, depending on the meat you choose, it might be dry or you might get hard pieces but I anticipate that with BBQ. But we went to get ice cream this evening around 5pm, and I will say I’m a bit frustrated. The open sign was lit up, it was business hours (Friday 11-8), but the door was locked and lights inside front were off (or so the lights appeared to be off). A young gentleman employee was standing my the counter, saw us, and walked away. There was no sign or paper on the door indicating that maybe they were closing early, maybe it was drive thru only tonight, or maybe the employee was on break. I really hope that this was just a mishap as we enjoy getting food and ice cream from here. But I will say that this was not good, especially on a Friday evening.
Delicious! Everything was great Collards greens were fantastic! Very friendly customer service. Many choices of ice cream. Fair and reasonable prices. Recommend cornbread. ?
Wow! First time giving Lakeland BBQ a try. Wish I would of tried it sooner. I ordered the Couch. It was huge. They definitely dont skimp on the toppings. The pork was cooked to perfection. Be prepared to be stuffed after eating this beast. Will definitely be making this place a routine stop.
Asked the lady if I could have the toast on the side of my pulled pork sandwich so it wasn’t soggy when I got back to work. She said we package our toast separately on to go orders. I got my sandwich to go and when I got to work my toast was in fact on the sandwich and was soggy. Then I go to take the soggy bread off and find a huge chunk of plastic from a meat package. Don’t think I’ll be back after this one.
