Food is SO good: Ribs were juicy & cooked to that fall-off-the-bone perfection! Mac & cheese seemed baked and had lots of cheese which was amazing. Hush puppies had just the right crunch yet fluffy insides. Very yummy!

Did the drive through for half pound of chicken. Advertised price on the board was $6.25. Lady at the window wanted $6.95 plus tax. Told her the advertised price was $6.25. Checked website and it also said $6.25. Lady insisted price was $6.95. So I left and went somewhere else. Doesn’t matter it’s less than a dollar difference, it’s bait and switch. I’m in town for lunch twice a week but I Won’t ever get barbecue from this establishment.

Still the best hush puppies ever! Got pork dinner plates for take out which have enough food for later. Don't forget the sauce for dipping and the best sweet tea (in a real sized cup)!
This restaurant is excellent! Never thought it could improve any, but it has. I used to live in Lakeland and ate there frequently, but I've been away for almost 9 yrs. Stopped by yesterday to pick up plates to go for my Dad and I and was thrilled with how quickly my order was prepared and the friendly, cheerful service was still very much a part of their service. Their food is AMAZING! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and was delicious ?.
Fantastic restaurant!! I can't rave enough about this Lakeland gem!!! Great food, great sauce, great Hush puppies (my favorite, dipped in their house BBQ sauce) and great customer service!! They get super busy at dinner so get there early. You can also call in an order for pickup and don't forget to add a piece or a whole delicious pie (I HIGHLY recommend the cherry)!! You won't be disappointed!!
Today is our 2 yr wedding anniversary. Tony and I were in the neighborhood and stopped at Jimbos for lunch. Tony has been coming here with his family for over 50 yrs. Our server was very pleasant. The food as usual was amazing!! This is the best place for BBQ. Fall off the bone ribs, brisket, pulled pork. The bbq sauce is tangy and delicious. Everyone treated us like family. That's the best part about Jimbos. That's why they've been a staple in Lakeland and beyond for decades. Thank you to everyoneTony n Denise
I loved the chopped pork sandwich with mustard slaw on top. An actually the pork was more pulled than chopped which I liked. Really good with a tomato based sauce. The ribs were good but a little too fatty for me. The fries were just OK.
Awesome meal! First time in and would definitely return. We had ribs, pork sandwich and apple pie for dessert. Staff was great, food was more than filling, and great BBQ sauce!
